We sold our property with the help of Chestertons, who we would definitely recommend. Scott who valued our property had local knowledge and marketed our property correctly, taking all of our comments on board. We were very fortunate to get Matthew Philips who was the agent who helped us sell the property. He gave us 100% commitment and went the extra mile to push forward the sale of our property. He communicated well and was honest throughout the process. Matthew helped us get it over the line even though the buyers solicitor was extremely poor. He had to deal with the buyers and their solicitor constantly changing the goal posts and being difficult at times.

They provide very poor services. They never got anything on time when we asked them to handle our request. But if they needed anything from us, they expected us to get back to them ASAP, like within 30 minutes...Why would it take days for us to get a respond from them then? Before we decided to take the property, they told us that a parking area would be included in the flat initially, which turned out to be wrong. So the agent said they wouldn't charge their commission, but sneakily they included it in the initial payment. I wanted it back, but given it'd take so long to get a response from them and it's very frustrating and irritating, I decided not to raise the point. Now I wish I did that because there was another upsetting event caused by them. So when I moved out from the flat, my flatmate found a new tenant and the landlord was very happy with the new person. We contacted the agent and asked for a tenancy swap. No one answered to our request for weeks and in the end they told us it would take them 6 weeks to process a tenancy swap request. It's been over 4 months and they still haven't done it. Maybe estate agencies are all the same, but I really don't recommend this agency.NegativeResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism, Value

Scott and Oliver sold our flat in De Beauvoir and were excellent throughout the process in a very challenging market. Our initial sale was agreed pre-lockdown at asking price within a week of listing and, after that buyer pulled out, they secured three very strong offers based on a video tour subject to a physical viewing (including one over the asking price).
