We used Mcarthy And Booker to purchase our bungalow on the island We’d like to thank Paul for showing us around Not forgetting Tracey who gave us the details to start with And Georgie who was our point of contact through out It was a fairly difficult long chain we were involved in, due to reasons beyond our control it didn’t always go to plan Georgie and her team were always on hand to answer our questions, reassure us when we thought it might all go wrong! Georgie kept in contact throughout, even answering questions on her day off! Georgie liased with the legal teams, and our agent on the mainland to ensure our chain stayed intact We would highly recommend this agent to anyone wanting to buy and sell on the island Thankyou to you all We got there in the end! X

We have recently completed on our forever home with McCarthy & Booker. It was an off the market property that they found for us and whilst it was a complex purchase (due to the nature of the property) Georgie was there to help the whole way through. Now that we have the keys we couldn’t be happier and we really appreciate all of the time and effort that went in to get the deal across the line. They really did go above and beyond for us. I have now done three property transactions with McCarthy and Booker and I would highly recommend them. Thanks again guys!

What can I say but.....WOW...Paul, Georgie and the team at McCarthy & Booker are just amazing. I needed a quick sale and a cash buyer in Cowes, Isle of Wight and they delivered a fantastic result for me. The level of service that you receive from them is brilliant, always updating you of what's happening in the market, very quick to reply to either messages or emails and their attention to detail is excellent. I highly recommend that if you are selling or buying that you speak first to Georgie and Paul as they are truly the best property agents on the Isle of Wight.

We recently purchased a house from Paul and his team, and from the outset we felt like we were dealing with friends. Their personal, 'nothing is too much of a bother' attitude has been so refreshing. We honestly couldn't fault their service and will not hesitate to recommend them. If only all estate agents had their passion, ethos and friendly nature, buying and selling houses wouldn't be so stressful. Thanks Paul for all your help. We look forward to being Island residents and seeing you out and about in Cowes. We will stay in touch x

Recently purchased a holiday home on the island with Georgie's help. She really does go that extra mile. Georgie made it all so easy for us from start to finish, very professional but with a charming personal touch. Communication was always prompt and her knowledge of the island helped us to choose the right location. Thank you to all the team at Waterside.

I have bought and sold many times and these estate agents are a breath of fresh air! The communication is unrivalled, the customer service and friendliness of the team is epic and they get the job done. From start to finish of our sale they were on it, a WhatsApp group to keep in comms with regular updates, I don’t think I ever had to contact them once as they’re updates were above and beyond. I wish I had been able to find the house we wanted to buy with McCarthy & Booker as it would have been so much easier and enjoyable! I only ever want to the use these agents and I would tell anyone if you’re in need of an estate agent and you want modern, polar opposite of old school agents and super friendly and professional then Georgie, Paul and the team are the ONLY ones to choose.

I don't think my property even went onto the market, Georgia went to look at the place to value and met a potential buyer in the hallway, and within 24 hours the place was sold for almost asking price. Incredible, and after having experience with 4 other agents in Cowes, there is nobody as good and personal as the team at Waterside. I highly recommend that you use this company to sell (or let) your property. Everyone is so nice and down to earth and completely professional, definitely the best agent on the Island, hands down!!PositiveResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism, Value

The small team at Waterside are friendly and professional and were by far the best agents that we have ever dealt with. The sales portfolio they produced for our property was excellent and the photos in particular were superb. Our sale was not the smoothest but Georgie and Paul were supportive and positive throughout the process, even producing a “keeping chipper” newsletter for their clients during the first lockdown. I would not hesitate in recommending Waterside to anyone considering selling a property on the IslandPositiveResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism

The whole team from McCarthy & Booker were amazing from start to finish. I don't live on the Island & as executor for my late Mother I needed to sell her flat. It was not a straight forward sale & very challenging & frustrating at times. Georgie, Paul & Tracey went above & beyond guiding me through some complex issues that arose. The whole team are amazing & kept me updated throughout. I would recommend 100%

The commitment, hard work & dedication the team at Waterside put in to selling our house was outstanding. They offer a professional, but very friendly service at a great value for money & was always at the other end of a phone if you needed them. I can honestly say Waterside Properties helped our dreams come true when they sold our house. Thank you to Georgie, Paul & Lynda

Georgie and her team were superb throughout our selling process. Their valuation was spot on and we received positive feedback in a timely manner after every viewing. Suffice to say we received an offer at the asking price after only three viewings. Despite some glitches along the way on our side, Georgie remained positive throughout and her constructive advice alleviated much of the stress always associated with moving homes. We would have no hesitation in recommending Waterside to anyone wishing to sell their property.

Finally just bought a house on the island thanks to the perseverance of the team at McCarthy & Booker. They are extremely professional yet give a very personal and friendly service. Georgie was available virtually 7 days a week to ensure we completed the purchase of our new home. We would highly recommend them.

I've just picked up the keys to my fab place in Cowes bought through Georgie and Paul @ Waterside Properties. Can't recommend this agency highly enough - Georgie has been brilliant at keeping the sales process moving even when there was a danger the whole deal would fall apart. Flexible & creative thinking, not to mention her sense of humour, kept it alive and her professionalism shone through. Thanks so much Georgie and good luck in the future.

Georgie and Paul backed up by Lynda in the office provided feedback immediately after every viewing. They took a real interest in our house and were a pleasure to do business with. Marketing was first class and served to create a high level of interest from potential buyers. Guide price was spot on as opposed to another agent who wanted us to market at substantially less.PositiveResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism

The team at Waterside are, without doubt, the best. Thanks to Georgie, Paul and Lynda for everything they did to sell our property and also to help us buy our new home! Nothing was too much trouble for Georgie in particular, who was amazing. They kept us up to date with their weekly 'chipper' emails during the Coronavirus lockdown. We really can't recommend Waterside Isle of Wight highly enough. Thank you all!

McCarthy Booker handled our rather difficult sale and also assisted with our onward purchase. The whole process was hampered by a difficult and obstructive buyer along with a series of protracted legal difficulties for our onward. Georgie Mccarthy was our primary agent and handled everything with superlative care and professionalism. It should be added that, although she suffered a close family bereavement, she continued to act for us with all the dedication that one could wish for. Highly recommended.

We have used McCarthy and Booker previously to move home so it was an easy choice to go back to them for our recent move. Everything about the service they provide is top notch, including the wonderful particulars they produce with stunning photography. You are constantly kept informed and they are very professional. It wasn't the easiest of chains, but Georgie in particular worked like a demon! If you are looking for great service then we recommend them highly.

I have just completed on a property in Cowes after a very stressful legal process,. This was helped by Georgie who chased the process several times when things were almost at a standstill. I found her very professional and helpful and never too busy to talk things through. I would recommend this estate agency, and good to have the same person to talk to throughout.

It's been a long relationship, but Georgie persevered and eventually got me past the post! Throughout the 18 month process she was unfailingly kind, helpful, never frustrated with me (or if she was, she didn't show it) and very knowledgable. Refreshingly honest and not afraid to offer an opinion. I cannot rate McCarthy & Booker more highly and would recommend them to anyone looking at property on the Isle of Wight. She did remote viewings via WhatsApp video, she showed the house at odd hours when it was the only time my family member acting on my behalf could get there. She is just the consummate professional. I think you will like her too!

Brilliant service, always with a smile and positive attitude. Very professional and worked so hard to follow up any potential buyer and kept us fully informed as to what was happening. As we live in Portugal we were totally dependent on Georgie to manage the complete process and keep us posted. Can't recommend Waterside enough, Brilliant! !! Thank you Georgie and Paul.
