Chrissie at Fine & Country Cowes has been nothing short of outstanding. We had a sometimes complex purchase drawn out over five difficult months, and during that time Chrissie was always cheerful, helpful, diplomatic and a great source of advice and reassurance. We counted 95 phone calls between us as well as countless emails. Chrissie is hard-working, down to earth and had it not been for her help our purchase would have very likely collapsed. We can't recommend her enough if you're buying or selling on the Isle of Wight.

Fine & Country were without a doubt the most helpful and friendly estate agents I've ever had the pleasure of dealing with and their service was second to none. My partner and I had quite a stressful and drawn out sale and purchase, Fine & Country being the estate agents who were selling us our beautiful new home which we are now finally in! Chrissie Taylor was not only highly professional but extremely helpful and comforting when things got tough, always going above and beyond to try and sort things and communicating regularly with myself and other parties. I always felt like Chrissie really cared about her vendor and ourselves, clearly putting her heart and soul both into her job and dealing with people on a personal level. Ross Taylor also deserves a special mention, dealing with things promptly and in a friendly manner and again going above and beyond to provide a brilliant, professional and personable service. We had a great experience with the F&C team, especially Ross and Chrissie. They have been very professional and kept us informed constantly throughout the selling process. We previously put our house on the market with another agent, but the chain kept breaking with 3 different buyers over 3 months. We then went with F&C. They took time to prepare a very professional marketing brochure of our house with air drone photographs. It made a huge difference in how the house was presented in the market. We only advertised our house for 3 days and could find 2 cash buyers. 5 days after finding our cash buyer we exchanged contracts, and 6 days later we completed! The quality of the buyers we had access to with F&C was excellent, and the Marketing had a lot to do with it. We highly recommend Fine and Country.PositiveQuality, Professionalism

I have been pondering completing this review for several weeks and have now decided that I really ought to do so. We instructed your agent Pip Holden to sell our property for us in August 2023, I actually sought her out as we were very impressed with her professionalism when she showed us around another property previously. Let me say first of all that Pip is very personable and I persuaded my husband that we should use her services. I was aware that she was busy at the time and I actually asked her at the outset whether she was able to take on the sale of our property and she said that it was not a problem. We asked her if the property failed to sell within the first couple of weeks whether there were things she could do to promote the sale, other than just reducing the property price. She reassured us that she had plenty of actions which she could take and she would be in contact with us every two weeks to keep us updated. We are aware that the housing market around the area in which we live has slowed somewhat over the past few months. In the fourteen weeks our house was for sale with Fine and Country Pip did not initiate one telephone call to us. I phoned her four weeks in, as we were concerned that one family who viewed the property obviously did not have the means or intention to purchase the property and were just on 'a day out' (I discovered this after asking only a couple of questions). Pip returned my call and said that the office would make sure to 'vet' the potential buyers more thoroughly. This was the ONLY contact made by her. After this I was happy with the contact from the staff in the office as they rang me with any queries and potential viewings. We were hoping that the national coverage provided by Fine and Country would prove beneficial and that we would receive some queries from potential buyers from outside the Sheffield area, this unfortunately was not forthcoming. We took our property off the market as it did not sell and will be advertising it for sale again in Spring 2024, however it will not be with Fine and Country. We feel it is important that your potential customers are aware of the level of support provided by he sales agent before deciding to instruct Fine and Country. I am sure it is quite obvious how disappointed we are with the whole process and the time and money (£720 initial fee paid - although we were never provided with a breakdown of what this represents) which we feel has been wasted.
