Had no trouble with Martin and Co until recent horrible experiences with a property manager at the Worcester branch, who has been sending emails with threatening language regarding extra bills (for damages not pertaining to our household). The property manager ought to take responsibility rather than bullying the residents into doing his job.

GoogleWe have been with Martin and Co for over 20 years now, both in Southend-on-sea and now in Ipswich. They have give us an excellent service, providing all that a landlord needs for letting his property and taking out all the stress. Even providing good workmen when there are problems that need fixing. I highly recommend them without reservation.

They dont help with complaints at all. You can call up, email, go in to their office and they'll act all nice, say they're going to fix what you want but they never will. They're terrible. I've rented many houses with other estate agents in the past but they are by the far the worst.

Liars. Unprofessional. Useless. Landlords should NEVER use this Agency as they only do 'ad hoc' duties for the Managment Contract and do not care about the standard of the property nor the Tenant(s). Their Beeston Office (NG9) is SHEET!

Awful service from start to finish. Numerous issues with the property, including mold on windows and doors, security gate never working, broken buzzer and intercom. We’ve now been out of the property for 3 weeks and no sign of any of the deposit being returned. Avoid at all costs.

GoogleSimon dealt with our move and made it as simple and smooth as possible. He kept in contact with us throughout the whole process so we knew what was happening the whole time which made it a lot less stressful for us and stood out against service we've received in the past from estate agents.

Worst agent I've ever rented with. Very poor service. I have rented a property managed by Martin and co and can say that this is the worst experience I've ever had with an agent. Customer service is absolutely terrible. Staff are incompetent and unresponsive. Worst agent ever. Do not recommend at all. Avoid at all costs.

GoogleExcellent service from start to finish. The staff are amazing and really friendly, helpful and knowledgable. Becoming a new landlord was a daunting experience but Martin & Co made it so straightforward and such a smooth process. I am so grateful for all of their help and would recommend to anyone who was looking for an estate agent.

I am a landlord. Evicted my tenant without my knowledge, and have then been trying to charge me for this service ever since. Rarely answer the phone, and do not call back after leaving a message. They used to be really good up until they where taken over a few years ago.

Terrible service from Gosport Branch. Tenant hasn't paid rent for 2 months, Gosport lettings team not returning calls to let me know what's happening, I have to constantly call for updates. Tenant doesn't pay council tax, I recieve letters when Gosport should be dealing with this. It is unbelievable. Use another agency for sure!

Absolutely terrible. Please do not use CHELSEA Reach Branch. Staff incompetent. Owner arrogant and rude. Totally unprofessional. I have taken them to the ombudsman and won compensation, that is how bad they have been. Collected keys and let themselves into my property, without my permission, when the contract between us had finished.

Disgraceful customer service. I offered the full asking price for a property to later be told the seller wanted cash buyers or first time buyers only. Not only this, but they didn’t have the decency to inform me the property had been sold just 2 days after my full offer.
Where the same review appears twice we show it once. We leave out reviews that name another agent or another of the brand's offices.
