We received an email from Kevin at Strutt and Parker and have been asked to remove our previous review, as it would affect the business of Strutt and Parker Inverness and as apparently it was not Strutt and Parker who commissioned The Surveyor for the property we purchased and they were just the messenger of the Home Report. We have adjusted the stars accordingly. We have yet to review Strutt and Parker as a whole, but basically it’s not great either

I've nothing but praise for Strutt and Parker. From the first conversation to the final sale, they recognised that what they were selling was my home and that fact was always at the heart of the process. Of course they worked unstintingly, efficiently and effectively, their communications were spot on, they found dozens of potential buyers in a few weeks, and achieved a terrific price. But what I'll always remember is being treated with such care and good humour. Thank you, S&P!

Excellent Service from Gina

After many months searching for the right house with many different estate agents we met with Gina at Strutt & Parker. Throughout the whole buying process we found Gina to be extremely professional, very efficient, and a very nice person. Strutt & Parker’s knowledge & expertise

Strutt & Parker’s knowledge of, and their expertise in, the rural housing market in East Kent is the principal reason we first considered using them for our house sale - and we have not been disappointed in that. Their staff in the Canterbury office work as a strong team and we, as vendors, benefitted from that, particularly in terms of their insights and perceptions. The only minor reservation was slightly slow communication in the early days - but this improved enormously as we got to know them.If we ever needed an East Kent estate agent again S&P would definitely be our first port of call!

We sold a property through the Harpenden office of Strutt and Parker. The help and guidance we received during every phase of the sale, from initial pricing through to completion, was invaluable. The staff at the Harpenden office are all highly knowledgeable and professional, but also friendly and approachable. As a result, the sale proceeded smoothly, despite the interruption of lockdown.Selling a home and buying a new one is normally the largest, most complex and most important transaction of people’s lives. Having the right advice at every stage makes all the difference between success and failure. Sally and her team at Strutt and Parker, Harpenden, were always on hand to give us the benefit of their experience and to offer practical help. They are experts in the Harpenden area market. This allowed us to balance competing considerations in an informed way, and to have a friendly and cooperative negotiation with our buyer. I should emphasise how helpful it is that all the staff in the Harpenden office are familiar with all current and prospective transactions. No matter who was present in the office, we were able to get the information and advice we were looking for, even if we dropped in unannounced. We can not recommend Sally and her team strongly enough. Building a successful team in a workplace is something that is very difficult to do. Sally has created a fantastic team who work together, play off each other’s strengths, motivate and respect one another. They are committed to achieving the very best for their clients.

Sally Noakes and her colleagues at Strutt and Parker have given us a stellar service.There has been absolutely no sense of the one size fits fits all approach that in the past have made us feel houses are often treated as a commodity.Sally and the team were accessible, empathetic, authoritative and able to blend those characteristics to offer us a strategy that worked. It all not only felt right emotionally - it was logical and based on data and market wisdom and experience. Take the stress out of moving

We commissioned Stutt & Parker to sell our lovely Victorian house recently. The tone and positioning of the Marketing was right on point for this part of the market something we had fallen down on with previous agents. The quality of potential buyers was top notch so no time wasting and the communications from Simon & Jane gave us confidence that we were in good hands with some tricky negotiations needed at times. We've exchanged and look forward to moving soon, I've already recommended their services to one of my clients. I don't recommend people to my clients unless I know they have equally high professional standards. House selling doesn't need to be stressful if you're in the right hands.

I used S and P partly because they…

I used S and P partly because they offered the highest price estimate and partly because I knew that, as a large company, their contacts to the likely markets were strong. Overall, my experience was good. The marketing material was high quality. I thought that there was an underestimation of my home's principal USP ie granny flat. There was lots of talk of multi generational living but that missed the point: grannies need to be on the ground floor. My other observation is that I thought S and P were far too slow to return staff after the first lockdown when business cleaaly picked up. That was UNFAIR on the remaining staff of whom too much was asked and not a good advert. I was grateful to Rozanne as manager particularly in the latter stages of both the sale and purchase.

DREAMS REALLY DO COME TRUE

We saw a very beautiful house at a difficult time for viewing with the virus. However, we found Strutt and Parker staff to be very understanding and knowledgeable and they made an appointment and as we had travelled a long way we were extended more time at the property and were able to take many photos. The Director of Kent was especially helpful and supplied us with photos of parts of the house where we had forgotten to take them. He was helpful when we made an offer and pitched our offer at the right level which was accepted. Throughout the conveyancing process he held our chain together with great skill and patience and thanks to him and his willingness to communicate with all parties involved including solicitors we managed to see the process through to a wonderful and successful conclusion where all parties were happy. We are indebted to the Strutt and Parker staff for their considerable experience which made a stressful process bearable. Many thanks for such an early Christmas present to all at Strutt and Parker but especially Edward Church and all his staff proving that dreams really do come true. We recently completed on the sale of our house. We couldn't have asked for a better service than the one we received from Oli and his team at the Exeter office. They sold two properties for us (5 years apart, second one has only just exchanged contracts). Both times Oli worked tirelessly to facilitate communication between all parties. As tenants looking for a new apartment to rent, we have been in touch with many agencies and have not always encountered professional agents but Charlotte Hewett from Notting Hill was great. This is the second occasion in 12 months that I have instructed Strutt and Parker Kensington Church Street to act on the sale of family property. The need arose from the death of a close relative. I had no hesitation in instructing them again. Despite the uncertainty represented by the pandemic and the ending of the lockdown, John was able to negotiate a very satisfactory sale price and ensured the sale went through without a hitch. As before, I felt he was giving me excellent advice on which I could rely. It was proffered tactfully and sensitively, and I have no doubt that the sale went through in the satisfactory way it did because of John's abilities, care, attention and concern. In addition to the usual services he and his team went well beyond what I would normally expect, eg supervising the removal of the piano, the collection of items for sale, and ultimately the clearance of the property itself. Strutt & Parker were great!We used S&P for our house sale and they scheduled the many viewings that they had promised and had arranged a sale within 2 weeks of our house being on the market. Katherine was very helpful from start to finish and kept us informed every step of the way. Our house proved difficult to sell…

Our house proved difficult to sell having been launched on the market in March 2019, we exchanged sale contracts last week thanks to the enormous support from Strutt’s Chelmsford office director Mark Davies. Mark took over the sale personally when we re-marketed in early July. There were complicated technical Land Registry problems with the sale and these were overcome thanks to Mark’s persistence, regular contact with us as vendors and with both sets of solicitors. Mark’s constantly proactive approach made the difference as did his willingness to go far beyond the call of duty. Please pass this feedback on to Mark and his line management. Overall a hugely beneficial experience and Mark Davies is a tremendous asset to your business.

Friendly, proactive and professional

I am a Licensed Conveyancer and work on some cases with Strutt and Parker. Compared to other estate agents that I work with they always go above and beyond to assist their clients in achieving their requirements. I find them very professional, proactive, helpful and they are so lovely to work with! They actually help me - if I have a problem on something or I am not getting a response they will chase where required and assist me in getting what I need. I would recommend any seller to market with them over any other agent. Selling a property is stressful at the best of times, having this type of agency on your side is a godsend and will only assist with speed and timely completions!
