Well after emailing the RICS Regarding this Company. The survey of the property which I was planning on purchasing in Chirnside the surveyor concerned failed to advise the solicitor in Duns about a PRA Path AVOID PLEASE

We have just used Allied Surveyors for EPC for our properties on the Isle of Mull and found them to be excellent throughout the process. When you buy a house in Scotland you get a home buyers survey and you would think since it cost about £600 it would mean something.Allied surveyors did the one one this house and gave the electrics a 1 which is about as good as it gets. Within a week of moving in the electrics we're condemned the house needed rewiring. I have now contact alliedsurveyers more than a dozen times. It turns out they are not qualified to survey electrics, so how can they give a verdict on electrics. Allied surveyers and slimey slippery bunch of conmen who do nothing for their money as they say themselves they are not qualified to do the job they charge you for. Buyer beware.I would like to ask David Ross of allied surveyors one question which he will not answer me in a personal corrispondance. If you David Ross or your work associates have no electrical qualifications how can yourself or your colleagues give a verdict on electrical insulations. People rely on your companies verdict when deciding weather to buy a house or not, I look forward to your comment on this forumIf your not qualified in electrical installations are you qualified to comment on heating and plumbing installations, joinery etc.
