I have just completed my house sale with Phill and wanted to share my feedback (mainly because I used to be an estate agent). Firstly, as estate agents go, Phill far outshines any I have ever come across. During this process, I looked at so many houses and couldn’t believe the general lack of professionalism I experienced. However Phill was always ready to go the extra mile, he was polite, knowledgeable and professional. Even when he was away and I encountered a problem, he contacted me and came up with a solution. My buyer’s solicitors communication was awful, so Phill went above and beyond to get the sale moving and ensured we exchanged and completed when planned. If it wasn’t thanks to him, I doubt we would have made the date. If you are looking to sell your house, I can’t recommend Phill highly enough.

Thank you so much to the team at Lynks with special mention to Donna and Phil Lynks dealt with the sale of my property which was quite a difficult circumstance. Due to the property market slowing it took longer to sell than hoped but Lynks helped make the process as quick and easy as they could within their control. Donna was very communicative throughout the process and helped navigate through some difficult circumstances. Donna and Phil both quickly built up a rapport with me and were very supportive where they could be. The team at Lynks are small but all very friendly and helpful. Donna and Phil went above and beyond to support the difficult circumstances and did as much as they could to relieve stress from me during the process.

Terrible Organisation

We arranged a viewing of a property with the agent who confirmed despite the property being sold they could still accept viewings and that there was a tenant in the property who would tour us. Upon arrival at the named time, the house was empty and nobody ever arrived. After speaking to neighbours, we discovered the house was empty and despite the seller communicating with Lynk’s multiple times regarding the status they still allowed us to book. Unfortunately, upon contact, the agent failed to reply at all. Terrible service and doesn’t fill you with confidence as a buyer or seller when messing people around, providing false information and failing to perform as asked.

Very rude unprofessional attitude rang them to say we were going to be 5 minutes late for 1pm appointment arrived at 10 past to be told appointment was at 1 and he'd left and was then hung up on . Been warned they are unprofessional but believed in benefit of doubt . Will not use them again. In reply to your reply ...I spoke to your staff in a totally respectful manner. You were very rude and I stand by that . I have written it which if wasn't true would be liable not slander..just for reference. I am glad you wouldn't deal with me as I'd already said I wouldn't deal with you again . There are much more professional agents and from your poor reviews I'm not alone in my opinion. Also for you to ring to order I take down my reviews is surprising as reviews should be for anyone's opinion good or bad ....I won't be removing it regardless

We bought our house through Lynks Estate Agents and, as first-time buyers, it can be difficult to understand how the whole process works. From the very beginning, Jeannette handled everything for us and was incredibly helpful throughout. She kept us updated regularly by phone and email, which really helped put our minds at ease. We also met her in person and she was honestly so lovely and approachable. A few months later we were successful with the purchase, and we’re so grateful for all the help and support Jeannette gave us along the way. I recently worked with Lynx Estate Agency to find a new home, and they are not friendly and not professional, I was disappointed with some aspects of their service. Specifically, I found that they were not very responsive to my inquiries, which made it difficult for me to get timely information about available properties. When Phil from Lynx came to value my late parents house I was very impressed by the professionalism yet friendly experience. The process of sale was clearly explained and my questions answered. As I lived far away from the property I was confident that it would be in safe hands. They know their market and how to advertise the property, When they said it would quickly sell they were right, it did within hours of being viewed and with several offers. From the first time Phill came round to value my property I knew I was in safe hands. Out of all the local estate agents I invited round to value my property, Lynks were the most professional and came round the most prepared. Working in the Television industry myself, one thing that mattered to me the most was the pictures. I asked that the pictures were not distorted and taken with a fish eye lens like other estate agents I’d seen, as it make rooms look bigger than they are. Phill explained they don’t do this at Lynks as it misleads potential buyers, and said I could have every input into the pictures. I was very very fortunate that my property sold with Lynks in under 24 hours! But, the short time dealing with the estate agent Donna, was fantastic. After the sale, Phill and Donna were so supportive and kept me up to date at all times, which as a first time seller, I really needed. I moved in with my partner Zach, and we have just recently sold his home with Lynks, after my excellent experience with them, I wouldn’t have recommended anyone else. If you want peace of mind, beautiful pictures, constant updates with invaluable advice and professional friendly estate agents… go with Lynks.

It absolutely baffles me that this estate agency has 4.4 star reviews it deserves no stars as a previous tenant. Even me providing a 1 star is generous. It seems that all the positive reviews are from buyers and sellers as well as landlords. Interesting to see how Kevin has been praised multiple times for being incredibly responsive for landlords and buyers but from my perspective (and my old flatmate and the previous tenant I replaced), Kevin was incredibly unresponsive and difficult to get hold off. To be blunt, he ignored our emails and calls concerning repairing our smoke alarm. To the extent I had to get a family lawyer involved to threaten legal action, to this point did it get fixed. It was appalling I had to go through great lengths to get a response and no apology whatsoever. I also had to do this to ensure that my deposit (as well as my old flatmate’s) was protected by DPS like our contract said it would be. Infuriating is the word I would use to encapsulate my experience as a tenant at Lynks Estate agent. I was even made to do viewings for future tenants which quite frankly was not my job and after doing three and using my lunch break to do this, I refused to do any more. The absolute audacity of this estate agent is mind blowing and for any future tenants looking to rent a property from them, do not do it whatsoever as any requests and problems you have will be ignored and not responded to unless you threaten legal action. My flatmate and I faced a £200 deduction from our deposit for professional cleaning charges when ironically our flat was not professionally cleaned when we moved it and black mould on tiles were there when we moved in and they never did an inventory. So please please take photos and videos when you move in to record what state the property is in when you move it. I disputed this on DPS and thankfully got our £200 back. As someone who has rented from five different estate agents before Lynks and have never received a deposit deduction beforehand, it was 100% on Lynks to professional clean their properties before their new tenants move in. I refused to have these deduction on issues that were present when myself and my flatmate moved in and were not caused by us. However, what I will say is the nicest encounter I ever had was from Phil who was always very responsive and helpful when I needed to ring someone to ask questions about moving out as Kevin was so unresponsive.
