I chose to use Oliver James Sales & Lettings to sell my house (and subsequently buy my new one) after lots of personal recommendations. Lots of people in the village I live in had also sold and bought via them and said how good they were. I wasn't disappointed! I dealt with Oliver Huggins initially as he kindly did the valuation of my home and was my point of contact throughout. A massive shout out to Cassie, Lavelle and also Jamie; who showed me round my new home on more than one occasion! I can confidently say they handled the sale and purchase professionally and with the highest level of customer service. I was kept up to date with all aspects of the sale/ purchase and all the emails I sent were answered promptly. I would definitely recommend using Oliver James Sales & Lettings to anyone. Thank you for all your help with my sale of number 12 and I'm delighted to have now settled into number 5. My forever home.

Our sellers actually used Move With Us but Oliver James was the estate agents that was used for property advertising and access etc. There were a number of times that I needed to contact Oliver James and they were extremely warm, polite and helpful with any enquires and organising the necessary access to the property for valuations and contractors. When we completed the purchase and collected the keys Oliver seemed genuinely happy and delighted for us, presenting the front door key in a personalised wooden box. In our modern times of digitised and depersonalized sales these small touches made all the difference.

Impressed from meeting Oliver who was very calm and professional through to our sale. Good advertising and feedback after every viewing. They also resold a house that fell through in our chain within a week! Lower fee than competitors with a 2 week tie in. Communication did reduce once sold , so a monthly update call would have been appreciated. This does not reduce their 5 stars though, excellent Estate Agent and will be using again in the near future.

Recently used Oliver James for my house sale. I cannot recommend them highly enough. A thoroughly professional and helpful company and I think, crucially, I would say their photographer, who took pictures of the property, is probably the best photographer in the industry. The pictures came out so much better than I could have hoped. Without question, would use them again and would recommend them to anyone in the area over ANY other estate agent. 10/10 fantastic service from start to finish! I highly recommend Oliver James to be your Estate Agent of choice. After seeing how Oliver James Estate Agency handled my mothers sale AND purchase last year, there was no doubt in my mind that these were the right Estate Agents for me in my sale. Not your typical estate agent, doesn’t follow the normal stereotype at all. Oliver was fantastic dealing with our house sale in Woodwalton. Despite the first chain collapsing and us briefly changing agents he was very understanding, professional and friendly throughout the whole procedure. The company operates with professional finesse and it feels like they are supporting you and have your interests at heart throughout, unlike other local estate agents. Couldn’t recommend more highly, although we have now moved out of the area if we ever return it would be an easy choice for us and we will definitely recommend to all our friends living in the Huntingdon area.

We’ve been using Oliver James for our small rental portfolio for the past few years, and we’ve always been impressed by their professionalism and efficiency. We manage our rentals ourselves, so we just use them to find suitable tenants. Every time they’ve forwarded us good quality people for our properties, so it’s clear that their checks and systems are thorough and they know exactly the type of tenant we’re looking for. Disappointing experience. One of the agents (Holly Watkins) lost interest as soon as she saw I was £3,500 under the eligibility criteria they use (30xrent per annum), even though I clearly stated on the questionnaire that I have savings and receive benefits. Despite this, she made no effort to help or offer any alternatives. Shortly after, I received a generic reply saying the landlord had accepted another offer.
