We sold our house via Boultons and they were excellent. Right from Andrew coming to value our house right through to Pip keeping us updated they were faultless. When Andrew valued our house the personal touches and attention to detail were fantastic and i believe that’s why our house sold so quickly less than 2 days at full asking price). The sale then handed over to Pip who was lovely and kept us updated all the way. They even found our new house even though it wasn’t been sold through them. Whenever we called the phone was answered 100% of the time and if we needed to speak to someone else we always received a call back. That is what I call excellent customer service. If you’re selling or buying in the area please look no further than Boultons.

we had a disappointing experience with boltons. we have used them in the past and hoped selling our flat with them would be smooth and easy (and had in fact bought the flat through them) however there seemed to be a real lack of coordination in the office, we would receive communication (sometimes conflicting or confusing) from multiple people in the office. even though we found a buyer quite quickly and for a good price, the process dragged on for months.

Really disappointing experience! I decided to use Boultons as I had previously purchased my property from them about 6 years ago, thinking this would streamline the whole process with the listing, as they already held relevant info about the property, floor plans, measurements etc. Unfortunately, this was not the case and the general service was quite poor. The consultation with Andrew seemed promising during our initial valuation, they seemed very experienced promised to provide input and regular updates on Rightmove analytics. This never really came to fruition and we never had further correspondence with Andrew until I served notice and asked for the listing to be removed with Boulton's due to lack of interest. Frustrating, at this point Boulton's acknowledged that more could have been don "the slow uptake and perhaps it is our confidence in the house and finding the right buyer that has lead to us being too reactive." This is the last thing you want to hear when selling a property, not to mention various mistakes and inaccuracies in the listing, Poor photos and limited input from professionals in this field. A total of 2 viewings within a 12 week period, one of which was a 'no show' which the agent failed to communicate or notify us. Boultons as a company provided very little input or advice on how we can drum up further interest, other than reducing the price (which we did) and surprisingly received even less interest. I'm really not sure what their marketing strategy (or lack there of) is. I would certainly not recommend.

Bought a house through this agency in October but neither the agency nor the previous owners mentioned to me that the house has a right to way and that my neighbor can pass by whenever she wants and with who she wants. It is unprofessional to lie the curstomer. I found out that the neighbor often uses our back yard as a passage and this bothers us a lot. If I had known this from the beginning I would not have bought the house. Tell your customers everything about the property they are going to buy, that will be nice.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY RO SURVEY A PROPERTY YOU WANT TO BUY. I used the this company on the advise of Coubrough Estates Agents. They arranged to go almost immediately. When I got the report back it read as though I had a good chance to get the price reduced. I arranged to visit the property again and the owner was there. The owner said the surveyor went through the the whole survey with him there and told him the house was good and any work was not serious or needed immediate action. This contradicted the report. Because the surveyor had already discussed this, the owner refused to reduce his price based on what the survey had told him. It’s going to cost me quite a few £0000 if I go ahead with this property. I’ve queried this with Boultons last week and they have still not replied. Please use a private independent surveyor that’s been recommended and not these. They’re not there to help you.

I can not rave enough about this place. I recently had to move my mum and the house she liked was through Boultons. Moving is not easy but Jane Blackmore was an absolute god send. whenever i got in touch left a message within minutes she would call back. when i booked the removal men a day earlier then the move in date in error Jane sorted it so we could go in a day earlier at short notice meaning i didn't lose my removal deposit. Jane's words were "don't worry we will pullmout all the stops" that is all one needs to hear when you are moving home. Once in Jane sorted out all the little teething problems straight away. Absolute fab firm i am Sure Jane is a reflection of all staff at this estate agents. Thank you Boultons for making our move easy and hassle free and thank you Jane for being an angel.

As a first time renter it was great to discover that Jane had visited a next door neighbour of mine previously & having visited my home, in the absence of the tenant, had noticed how nice I had kept my own home, so didn't hesitate to suggest to a local landlord, managed by Boultons, how I would be a 'model tenant', when I requested to view their vacant property.
