GoogleLol where do I start as a tenent they try and squeeze every penny they can out of you and as a landlord they hold back money and work takes ages to get booked in and they take the money before it's even been completed god know what out tennent thinks! All in all I would never recommend Martin and co as a tennent or landlord. The best part of the reviews here is the review from Rowan Williams she is the branch manager... so it's a little biased if you ask me... even better is the branch response... to be fair there is likely more than one rowan Williams in the world so I may be wrong. If you don't mind paying for a poor service and cleaning when you move out when it's left in a better condition than when you moved in or as a landlord to have rent held back for no reason and work required to not be completed for weeks or even months then I highly recommend Martin and co especially the Hucknall branch although I have had dealings with both nottingham and Hucknall branch and they are both as bad as each other in different ways which is quite special. The problem with the likes of Martin and co is they get the custom due to advertising and people are like sheep and do as they are told which is a shame when you get a far superior service from family run businesses where they care about the service offered to tennents and landlords alike. If after reading this you decide to go with Martin and co i wish you the best of luck you will need it.

Since Martin & Co Hucknall took over managing the property we are renting we have received excellent service from its staff, mainly Rosie Gibbins who has been very prompt in responding to any query or request we may have. It was our worry when the we were informed of changes in Estate Agents as we had a good relationship with the previous team but Rosie has made us realise why the landlord chose Martin & Co to take over. Will highly recommend any prospective tenants and landlords too for their outstanding service and attentiveness to the people they are looking after.

Martin & Co Hucknall staff are very efficient and prompt in their response to queries from tenants, exceptionally Rosie whom I have been dealing directly with since they took over managing the property we are renting from the previous realtor. Communication is very easy and efficient which makes you feel that she has the best interest for both the landlord and the tenant. Will highly recommend Martin & Co if you are a landlord for someone to manage your property and also gives peace of mind for tenant knowing that you are being well represented and have value for your money.

We used the suggested conveyors, Simply Conveyaning and they worked as a team and the transaction was smooth and both Nat and Rowan made a great team. Highly recommend, I would certainly not use any of the bigger companies.

GoogleThis letting agency allowed me to live in a house with fire safety issues for four years. The house wasn't even cleaned when I rented it and had mold throughout I did the house up and cleaned it top to bottom when I left also fitted new carpet bath tap and got rid of all the mold and re sealed the entire house. Its now been over two months since my tenancy ended and they are not answering calls or emails about my deposit and are basically robbing me without even an explanation I would highly advise everyone to stay clear.

GoogleTenant review: Absolutely excellent service from Rosie and Katie at Hucknall Martin & Co. Processed queries quickly with positive customer relations, and treated us with respect by always ensuring we were politely asked before any visits to the premises were conducted (not many agencies actually adhere to this courtesy in practice from our experience!). Whilst this point is of course dependant on how you treat your rental home(!), they also liaised effectively with the landlord and returned our deposit in full within two weeks of us vacating the property, in addition to managing the check-out procedure to accommodate our work schedules, which made the process such an easy and positive experience. Thank you! :)

GoogleI felt it important to share my experience to express how pleased we have been with the professionalism of two members of the Martin & Co team. We have had problems with a tenant’s unpaid rent which has spanned out over the past three month. We have eventually resolved the situation by serving a Section 8 to the tenant and he has now left. This could have been quite a stressful time for me to deal with, however, due to the excellent communication I received and the pro-active approach from Rosie and Rowan, I have felt in control and stress free. I always believe in giving praise where praise is due and in this situation, this was definitely the case. Thank you. Penny Hogan

Good afternoon Mr Goddard. I am sorry to read that you are dissatisfied with the service you have received from the office. We have investigated this and can see that our agent waited at the property for you for 30 minutes and advised they would need to leave the property at a certain time due to pre-booked appointments. Again, I am sorry to hear of your dissatisfaction and we wish you luck with your property search.
