GoogleVery difficult to get a hold of on the phone or via email.
They took months to fix a broken door lock, meaning we were not safe and our insurance was invalid for a very long time.
When you can reach them, they constantly offer call backs that they never deliver, so it's impossible to have a professional conversation.
Promised action on so many things that were never resolved, include a serious leak from the above flat which led to damage to our property.
Like a lot of agents, they only care about taking your money when you move in. After that, they wipe their hands of any serious responsibility. Really disappointed, and glad to be moving away from Sawyer and Co.

Thank you for letting us know how you feel Jonathon, I'm really sorry you felt you had a bad experience with us. Looking into your experience a little deeper, the property owner(your landlord at the time) instructed Sawyer & Co on an introductory service only. This meant that they (landlord) would deal with all remedial works and maintenance of the apartment. In the future we will aim to make this clearer to tenants moving into their new homes. I can only apologise if this wasn't clear to you at the time. We really hope you could give us another chance in the future.

GoogleSawyer and Co are one of the best lettings agencies that I have experienced in over 20-years of renting. From arranging the initial viewing to dealing with issues at the property (faulty valve on the toilet) they have been professional and courteous. Unlike some lettings agents who regard renters as second class citizens, Sawyer and Co. seem to bring the same respect and responsiveness to their lettings clients as they would to their clients making a purchase; for example when we expressed our concerns over the security and conduct of the referencing provider they used (according to reviews we could read on Trustpilot), Paige at Sawyer and Co genuinely listened to those concerns, offered a better alternative to consider, and after confirmation from us and her manager adapted her workflow and transitioned to the new referencing provider.
This courtesy was consistent across all staff members; in these difficult times it is often the case that as customers we have to deal with many representatives from a company, with Sawyer and Co. each new staff member gave us the same level of service, they had read their notes and, importantly, we knew the name and role of who we were meeting or who was at the other end of an email. I had pretty much written off using lettings agencies after multiple bad experiences but Sawyer and Co. have made me think perhaps there is still hope.
