After a year of getting soaking wet or freezing cold waiting for another late estate agent to arrive, only then to be desperately disappointed with the so called 'prisitine' property is nothing like the listing, I was about to give up when I arranged a viewing with Hamptons. Martina the agent was already at the property on every viewing. The particulars matched the property, and as described, and there was no waffle with pretentious claims like 'parking' (a Tescos car park 2 roads away) or distinct character (mouldy and dark) It was honest, professional and friendly and a whole class above the other estate agents I had dealt with. Excellent company (and I definitely recommend Martina who was so attentive, friendly and knowledgeable through the whole process)

I did know of Hamptons reputation before approaching then to sell 24 Brunswick terraces. However, I did not except the expert, professional and courteous service we received. During the long 14 weeks it took to liaise between, buyers, Solicitors, and of course us and our concerns always with patience and helpful advice. The team at Hamptons have gone above and beyond in helping us move to our new home. For me, their focus was on the right people for the right place, and not short term financial gain, which I think is pretty commendable for an estate agents. There's definitely a personal touch here, even down to the shop frontage, good luck messages for marathon runners one weekend, and celebrations for the local football team the next, happy to show local support in favour of the usual property displays. Particular thanks to Victoria, she was a huge help and we're very grateful for all her help.

Let's face it, politicians and estate agents-often with good justification-are almost universally viewed in a less than favourable light. So when you find a good estate agent (good politicians are yet to be found!) and within that company someone who's excellent at their job it's worth making a noise about it. And at first instance can I say I have absolutely no links with either the company or the individual involved. So Hamptons is the company and Martina Tiziani the person. Nothing was too much her-or anyone else in the Hove office for that matter-and she took the inevitable changes in brief with a smile and a conscientious desire to provide us with our ideal solution. Interested, interesting, involved and most of all totally patient, nothing was seemingly too much for her and after 6 months she has both sold and bought on our behalf very successfully. And found us a top solicitor and top architect too. And not content with that she also found us a top short term let to cover the interim period. Contrary to popular belief though she cannot leap tall buildings in a single bound!! So, in an era when we are all too quick to complain and criticise it is a pleasure to write something wholly positive. Well done all at Hamptons Hove, especially Martina. It's been a pleasure-and not many people ever write that about estate agents!! Thank you.

There are not enough words to describe how wonderful Paul Hawes at Hamptons was in facilitating our new let in Hove. He was AMAZING. Paul made the whole process so easy, he just understood how stressy moving is and took care of everything with a spring in his step. Every phone call, every email made and recieved were highly professional yet caring and personable. No question however silly went unanswered and I just had confidence in him. 5 Star Service Hamptons, and in particular Victoria, proved to be extremely professional, prompt and supportive in their service when I found a flat through them. The whole process from start to finish was light years ahead of most other Estate Agents I have dealt with in Brighton. Hamptons were outstanding from start to finish especially Martina, Edward and Stuart, although all the team were very helpful throughout. Communication was spot on and nothing was too much trouble. People try to save money selling a property on their own or going for the cheapest commission rate. There are a lot more things to do on a house sale carried out behind the scenes by estate agents in order to agree a sale and to get it over the finish line with an exchange and completion. This is when Hamptons in Hove showed good value for money, the guys worked their socks off and treated me like their only customer. I could not recommend this office enough, thank you guys.

We are renting a flat with Hamptons. It is an old property in Hove with various issues related to the age of the property. The tenants are nice and not at all demanding. I believe this is to some extent thank to the excellent work of Jocelyne Williams, the Property Manager. She listens and acts on the concerns of both Tenant and Landlord keeping everyone happy.
