Pathetic Company fo advertisers

Pathetic Company fo advertisers. they will suspend your ad account for no reason at all and you will waste your precious time and energy speaking to support that reads a pre written script. they will not help you, they will not escalate the issue cause they thing they are so big. only thing facebook is alive is due to ig and pretty soon facebook.com will not survive as users are going our and advertisers are also stopping

Facebook doesn't protect its users information or accounts. There is no customer service when you have been hacked. If it can't protect its users and there is no customer service it will slowly fade into like past!

DON’T SHIP AN ITEM YOU SOLD ON FACEBOOK MARKETPLACE THROUGH THEIR SHIPPING SERVICE

My review is for Facebook Marketplace which owes me $180 for an item I sold on their platform. I recently purchased a new iPad so I placed my old one on Marketplace. It was in excellent working and cosmetic condition. It sold and I opted to ship it through the Marketplace shipping service which sent me a prepaid label, the cost of which would be deducted from my sale revenue. So, in effect, they are acting as my “agent” by collecting the money from the buyer. In addition, they charge a fee which is also deducted. I was to receive the balance of the proceeds from the sale once the iPad had been shipped and received. I have used this service before so when the money owed me was not deposited in my PayPal account after a reasonable time I contacted their customer service by email (it is impossible to speak with a live person). They responded by letting me know there was an issue with the buyer regarding payment. I was told that the money owed me had been placed in my “account” and it would take over a month for them to release it. When the month was up I again contacted Marketplace and went back and forth with them until their final correspondence basically said there was nothing more they could do (translation: I am SOL in receiving my money from the sale or the return of my iPad!). My question to them would be why they sent me the shipping label before the buyer had paid for the item? If I had shipped directly I would have “money in hand” first. They took over my transaction so they are responsible for not being paid which is between Marketplace and the buyer. I believe Marketplace should pay me, a retiree living on a fixed income who makes a little extra income by selling on Marketplace and eBay, directly. Like that will ever happen!

Instagram Facebook scam

Seen this message “ your instagram account is breaching rules - please login to your account and follow rules “ Not our instagram account to be able to sort - that’s the first scam but this results in - Our business - New Road Service Station Facebook page was compromised by a scammer and facebook are useless and exceptionally unhelpful in getting your account back from fraudsters - I’m shocked Facebook doesn’t seem to care or have any decent procedures for this - seen many comments mirroring mine and their whole business relied on FB - sort it out you are a multi million pound business !

Facebook the place truth gets you banned

Facebook is the most unfair social network site pushing everything that is wrong in this world and hiding the truth. They disabled my account because I supported a man dealing with child groomers, I lost 12 years of photographs and memories. It's not a social network site anymore it's a place to spread hate and hide truth.

Such a bad user experience is unbelievable.

Facebook blocked my main account and Ad account for no reason, but surprisingly, they continued to deduct my ad fees from my bank card (my ad settings were set to run long term before the account was blocked). Since my account was blocked by them, I couldn't log in to the ad account to set it up. I sent them several emails emails, but no one responded. Such a bad user experience is unbelievable.

Boosting Add's

On the 9th of April, I decided to boost one of my company's adverts, I followed the instructions, changing my whatsapp account to a business one, then I chose the budget of £30 total for a 4 day advert that would reach an audience of 1.6k.The advert was for personalising empty wooden wine boxes:Face book started taking out £2.00 instalments from my card, which stayed the same for approx 4 instalments then it went upon the third day to appr £4.00.however on the second day of the advert boost, face book paused the advert and threatened to take my page down as I my add was in violation of there guidelines. However they still charge my card with instalment now increasing to £12 per instalment.I've had to cancel my card as facebook still repeated try to collect monies from my card after the advert had finished.Face book have collected over £160 from my card, I have tried to phone them - no response, sent several emails -no response - left message on the Meta business suite - no response. It is now with my Bank - lets hope they have more luck !!

So facebook decided to allow me the "chat with us" feature after many failed attempts to unlock my FB, and it sucks!

I dont know how it happened but after litteraly more than 10 times of my ID and other credentials getting rejected after my fb got locked for more than a week now, "chat with us" feature suddenly became available, but when i thought it finally will help after they told me to reply to their meta support email that they've sent where i were to reply with an attached video of me holding a written code that matches the one they've sent me to confirm that "I am me", it then only turned out to be an even more of a cesspit of a customer support. They did not respond, did not unlock, did not do anything but send a damn survey to rate their customer support! What kind of company is this. Instead of boycotting McDonald's, we should boycott this facebook instead! Worst customer service I've experienced!

Ive tried plenty of times to verify my identity but it kept rejecting my attempts.

My account was locked after somone apparently gained unauthorized access and now im locked out and facebook kept on rejecting my ID and other docs. I just turned 18 so i dont have government IDs, but I did send a school ID, a diploma, a birth certificate, and a covid vaccination card, but their AI still kept on rejecting them. I tried to email fb, send feedback reports both in fb and insta, dm them in insta, but still no response whatsoever and their help center isn't helping at all. Ive always used this device so why cant u verify using this familiar device and ip? Heck i even sent screenshots of me and my girlfriend's convo in insta and said that we have photos together in her fb and insta account in insta's "report a problem" and my credentials but still no help coming whatsoever.

So these absolute dog sh!t c!nts will ban me for calling someone a melt c!nt but allow scammers to scam me out of 1500 through their app lying about selling stuff and it never turns up just more messages saying i need to pay more to get my package pay that amount for them to say i need to pay more and in the end never got a single thing but they got my 1500 and to top it off these scummy pieces of sh!t to allow that person to continue scamming others of their hard earned money too. I've reported it loads if times with all the proof and all they say is there is nothing wrong so it's like they are involved with the scam themselves

I've worked in content moderation and community management for over ten years and I can absolutely attest to other negative reviews, your moderation is absolute garbage. I find you all to be completely inept and incapable of facilitating a constructive and safe community, especially when you allow your users to advertise pyramid schemes, adult content, create fake accounts to impersonate celebrities, or even high-ranking military officials, it's pathetic. Do better, because you suck at your job.

Worst customer service ever

Worst customer service ever! I sent several messages about payment problems and it seems none really cares, because all I got as reply every time, that I have to explain all over again to a different person!Their support system does not work! They dont offer solution but tell you, that dont worry, we will solve your problem and if you dont have anything else to discuss about, than we will close this chat and wish you a nice day!!! So then, you lost your support ticket!!! ITS a NIGHTMARE system! Doesnt matter how many time I contacted them, its exactly the same every time!! Such a huge disappointment from Facebook! They block credit cards, because my bank did not let the payment go through due to the very serious fact, that the amount that needed to be paid ($45.93) in their system was smaller then what they wanted to charge ($58.33) after the verification!! And then because you keep trying, they restricted them, stating fraudlent actions!!!!! Unbelievable!!!

Trust facebook the same as you would…

Trust facebook the same as you would trust a pedo with your children. Absolutely don't.If you cause drama or are part of drama, you are entirely free to post. If you pay facebook, you can scam scam scam. If you be yourself, you will be limited. If you then ask for help, you will be silenced. Over 15 years a member. Zero trust. Only use it to speak with people at times. Facebook has less than no respect.

Facebook decided to lock my account…

Facebook decided to prevent me from using my account yesterday, even though I was using 2 factor authenticaton to log in. "We've seen unusual activity on your account. This may mean that someone has used your account without your knowledge." This is of course bull. They will not accept a form of ID (drivers licence), so my account and images have now all gone. They will let fraudsters use there platform to rip people off (try "buying" a tesla for £9k, enough are advertised by fraudsters on facebook, who all seem to sell 20 odd cars at truely unbelevable prices and facebook do NOTHING, as they gain revenue for other adverts on the pages) but act responsibly, and you will be next.

Oppenheimer in the 21st century

Aside from the fact that FB started the decline of civilisation. It used to be clean, a way to connect. Now, bloated with adverts. You look at your feed, it changes on every refresh.Meta, or whoever owns it now should be ashamed, destroying humanity. People do not talk any more, my friend refuse to communicate by phone or face to face.I lay, near death on the floor for 10 days with unfinished messages. Friends too busy posting pictures of cats and holidays than to contact me. Now, we have AI in the mix, the machines run the Internet. FB is a dangerous social media gone wrong, along with YouTube and the others. Google et al. History will bear me right, mark my words

Facebook sucks

Facebook sucks. i said to someone "all i see you doing is B!tching and complaining" and i get banned 3 days and cant post to groups for 30 days. i report people saying really disgusting racist things, report violent videos, videos and ads with nudity, preteens or younger in underwear being sexual and guess what? nothing...they just tell me it didnt go against their community guidelines. perhaps if my comment made them money they wouldnt ban me. its disgusting what fb turned into. zuckerbutt needs to just FUHK off already. hes part of the problem in this country.

I'm absolutely disgusted with FB's…

I'm absolutely disgusted with FB's 'boost' facility in Marketplace, don't ever use it, whatever you do - not if you're only selling a single item. They deliberately make it as complicated as possible, by bamboozling you with lots of different options, thus confusing your understanding of exactly how much you're being charged, and for how long. I posted a single item two days ago, and somehow, they have managed to charge me nearly £15.00. That's ridiculous, and when you try to cancel, you'll be told you have to 'pause' your ad, and pay the outstanding balance (yes, they appear to want another £2.00 off me) in 72 hours. For obvious reasons, there is no simple 'cancel boost' button, because they'd rather have you in a state of confusion, than cancelling their extortionate 'boost'. Never again, and I don't believe I had the 1000's of clicks they claimed I had on the item, because it's highly specialized, there simply wouldn't be that many people interested. Lying, money grabbing, dishonest thieves. Don't be taken in.

Rubbish

I created a Facebook account years ago and now as I don't use it anymore, I want to delete it. BUT because of the nonesense security, I am not able to access my account to delete the account. Apparently, I can only enter my account only on the device that's it's recognised, which I'm 100% that I do not have it anymore as it's been a long time. I tried looking on the Account Centre to see if I can submit a ticket, but nope. It looks like I cannot acces my account forever. This is totally rubbish. Worst social media ever.

Scammers hacking and running Facebook Groups

I was an admin for an active Facebook group until about a week ago when a hacker joined, took over the admin rights and took my admin role from me. He also removed the other admin and unlinked the associated page. Because I was the creator I am still a member on the site. The hacker has over 150 groups listed on his profiles - all of where he got admin right in the last few months.I contacted Facebook at least 10 times about this hacker and they have not responded to a single approach. I emailed their support team and reported it through the app several times as well. I know some of the members of the group also reported the hacker - but Facebook remain idle on the matter. In the last few days, I have looked at some of the other group this guy hacked and this led me to other hackers. Every time I find one and go through their activities they lead me to more hackers and hacked Facebook groups. I gave all this information to Facebook - and they simply do not respond, which, in my view, both encourages scamming on the site and puts group members security at risk. I contacted some of the other previous admins of other groups, where I was able to identify them, and the ones that answered me confirmed their groups were either stolen, like mine, or one person's group was so bombarded by porn that when the scammer offered to take the admin role, she gave it to him.

heaven for scammers and traffickers

Well i belive facebook is beyong unsafe, and more like a very dangerous platform you have to be constantly carefull just to navigate , chat, view pics or videos, to many scams and hackers on facebook, and there is no security what so ever for any users. any false pages personal or business can contact you or mess with you in way by a quick interaction. if they had verified users with goverment id. all the scamers, hackers wont be able to hide who they are and there personal contact details. so that the authorities know where to look and for whom. thats why favebook is a heaven for human traffickers, illegal supliment, identity theft, bank or cc thieves, all sorts of dangers actualy found on fb, on top also the market place so you can always meet or be setup by any crimanal groups. I dont see why they dont have an id check.
