Michael Richards is the most unprofessional company I have ever dealt with. We have lived in a small block of flats managed by them and since 2020 (!) have been complaining about pigeons nesting on the roof and by the window sills. Since then, we have found the carcasses of THREE dead pigeons outside our window. You would think one dead pigeon is enough to do something about it, but no. Aside from the irritating noise of the pigeons and the disgusting state of the building, the nests have damaged the roof and blocked the gutters. This inevitably lead to a leak last May, when rain poured down our living room window. Almost one year on, the issue is not resolved! We have dealt with a myriad list of property managers over this time (Yvonne Myers, Miles Stuart, Amy Chandler and Jonathan Yates), each more incompetent than their predecessor. Emails go routinely unresponded and whenever you phone their office the property manager seems to be in a meeting and never returns the call. Perhaps it is part of Michael Richards' policy to just collect expensive service charges and forget about customer service?

I had a leak in my bathroom and I got through to a person called Alex - they were so helpful and patient. Relayed all the relevant information I needed and organised help for me quickly and effectively! Considering the circumstances were stressful Alex helped put my mind at ease! Beth, Anurag, and Sam at Brentford Dock are never anything less than helpful, friendly, efficient and effective when dealing with any query that we have had. Perhaps not relevant, but certainly worth mentioning, that the office is also very dog friendly! Looking forward to more of the same - great work! PS. Looking at the small number of the negative reviews here, I suspect that they might refer to other properties managed by MR&Co. because I can't imagine they relate to the Brentford Dock Office.

As an electrical contractor who attends and works across Brentford Dock on a regular basis; I liase with Sam Thomas in the management office multiple times a week. He is efficient at providing us all necessary information so work can be completed in an timely manner. He is always on hand to assist and advise myself (or my team) with any unforeseen issues that may arise or impact the works being carried out that day. Most importantly he is reliable and contactable.

We have been working on numerous blocks of flats in the London area managed by Michael Richards - installing macadam surfaces and other civil engineering works over the years. Michael Richards were the property managers and I found them to be responsive and very easy to deal with. The only reason I have awarded 4 stars rather than 5 is because their full range of services weren't required and so it is not possible to comment.

Michael Richards & Co is utterly inadequate for its intended purpose. Any positive reviews here seem likely to be bought or influenced. Their communication is practically non-existent, and they unjustly charge for management without providing any service. Their excuses are feeble at best. I've had my fill of them taking money with no service in return. If you consider hiring this company as your property management, you might want to seriously reconsider your decision, or face years of misery.

Very responsive experience

We have lived in a property managed by Michael Richards for over 15 years, and recently sold the flat to move out of London. Caroline and Lara answered the many questions from the buyers promptly and patiently, and were very approachable when we had additional queries, helping us to complete the sale successfully.
