From the moment we listed our property Adam and Dom of Foxtons Chiswick had viewings set up and an offer within 10 days. When that sadly fell apart, within another week we had a second offer - and using the Foxtons' portal was really efficient and useful to check up on progress. The sale ended up being a long and frustrating process due to solicitor challenges. Throughout Adam and Dom were supportive, calm and responsive and worked very hard to deliver the final completion in some very trying circumstances. We really couldn't have done it without them. We are so grateful for all their help and would have no hesitation in recommending them.

A letting agent that simplifies your life

I use Foxtons to let out my flat. Overall, the process was easy. They came, looked at the flat in person, provided an evaluation and explained the process through. I took the offer where they deal with everything. While this came at a rather hefty commission, i really did not need to do anything. Foxtons helped me sort out all the requests the tenants have and kept me updated with the repairs (also asked for my permission too before placing any purchase orders). Special kudos to Tony Chan, my property manager. He helped me a lot with sorting out all the relevant paperwork to let out a flat. He is very responsive as well. Any queries I have, i can be confident that he will answer it. As a landlord letting through Foxtons, i have no worries, though the commission is a little bit higher.

Foxtons Chiswick and the aptly named Dominic Best - are exactly that! They managed our very difficult sale with what seemed like relative ease. Dominic was tirelessly professional and committed, to ourselves and our buyer, throughout complex delays with lenders, leaseholds and help to buy matters. We decided to give Foxtons a try - within 24 hours Dominic had a viewing and an official offer. A very good and fair offer at that. The property was on the market and back off again within the space of a weekend. Incredible work. We previously had the property on the market for 5 months with a local agent. We supposedly had 50 viewings in this time, but were not in the county to whiteness it, and it only resulted in 2 quite frankly pathetic and insulting offers. They may have only been asking for half of the commission fee % - but they were not even worth that. You get what pay for, you really do. If you want your property sold - call them, speak with Dominic, sit back and know you’re in the best possible hands.

I was spoken to quite rudely on the phone with agents pushing for an earlier viewing or just scheduling a viewing without asking for availabilities. I have told agents multiple times to stop calling me but this was not heard. I even removed my information from the portal and noted that I am no longer looking for a property. I still receive 3-4 calls a day whilst informing them that I do not want to rent through them.

Foxtons Letting Commission…

Just to share my experience and warn anybody thinking of using Foxtons letting services. Foxtons will be vey happy to take full year commission in advance but if your tenant moves out before the full year period, Foxtons will not refund your commission in cash but just leave the amount as a credit in your account even you no longer have the intention to rent out your property. Area director of Foxtons claimed that this is in line with Foxtons terms of business. Beware before you choose Foxtons letting services.
