Worst customer service ever!I got in touch with them for a very specific request concerning an issue with my conveyancing and they made me waste almost an hour asking for unrelated things, like what area I would like to buy in, what's my budget...Basically, they completely ignored my request (even when I repeatedly asked the question again). They just wanted to help me search for a property... which is completely pointless, as I've already found one, and I'm already halfway through my conveyancing.Talking to them was like talking to a robot, and not a particularly smart one!Complete waste of time.EDIT since you're asking for more details:I spoke with Peter first in the online chat, then with Lucinda, then Nicole Fingerhut emailed me "Unfortunately we do not have an office that covers your area currently so we won’t be able to assist with your property search"... which goes to prove she didn't even bother reading my question, as it was not about a property search.They tried to sell me houses, mortgages... everything I didn't need, and every time I politely replied "no thanks, I'm not interested, my issue is XYZ, can you help with that or not?" they would just ignore me completely and keep trying to lure me into property searches and mortgages applications.Are Peter, Lucinda and Nicole robots? Trolls? Very young children? Certainly, they can't be trained customer service professionals!

We had a bad experience with Chestertons Chiswick. Some staff were really rude and condescending. Staff would keep ringing and texting us, even when we told them we were abroad on annual holiday! Tenants damaged our flat, and when we complained to Chestertons they were completely dismissive. Marketing our flat was handled in a very sloppy and unprofessional manner.

I used Chestertons Battersea & Clapham to rent out my flat and was beyond impressed. I was out of the country and wasn't able to meet anyone from the agency in person but Gary and Alice with whom I dealt were extremely professional while also remaining personable and put me entirely at ease. I felt that they went above and beyond with their communications with phone calls, emails and text messages.The tenants who were in the apartment at the time were also extremely complimentary of their approach both in organising viewings as well as the viewings themselves.I would highly recommend the agency to anyone looking to rent out their flat!
