Have been waiting since May to get some work organised in my flat. Since Richard Parkin took over there seems a sense of urgency and renewed quotes are now sensible and more favourable to me as the flat owner than previously. Five stars are specifically for Richard's help so far NOT a general judgement.

The estate agent I dealt with was so rude and repeatedly asked if I could afford the flat before even viewing the flat. He assumed I had no knowledge of the current renting market and was very condescending when I told him my price range. When I turned up to my viewing, he dismissed me and didn't introduce the flat at all. I 100% do NOT recommend this place to anyone.

Rented a flat via the Chiswick branch. Flat had ongoing issues, which agency should have been aware of (maybe they were?) which were detrimental to our enjoyment and comfort. Consistently chased the "property manager" throughout tenancy, who was more often than not "out of the office" and rarely answered their phone. Despite their responsibility to return a tenants deposit promptly and without delay, we are still waiting on our deposit to be returned and the tenancy ended over a month ago! Apparently the delay was an oversight, and not even the decency to call to apologise and despite requesting the payment to be expedited, no acknowledgement from the property manager, with the response fielded out to a junior member of staff. If you’re looking for an agency to treat you with contempt I'd highly recommend.

Avoid using this company by all means -We lived in a property managed by Chesterton's for a year. In the time we lived with them, we reported issues with the accommodation in the first week of moving into the accommodation, they didn't sort this in the 9 months of us living there. They constantly sent someone out to 'price it up', but never once did someone come to fix anything. Things like not providing keys for the windows to open, bath panels and shower's hanging off the wall. We had 4 different property managers in this time as people kept leaving the company. The guy who came round to look at the property to price up the issues mentioned that the accommodation was that poorly put together that he couldn't believe it. After 9 months of getting tired of nothing being fixed, we decided we had to get out.Once we left, we were assured that we would not receive any cleaning charges if we used their registered cleaners. When handing over the keys, Andrew mentioned that the flat was cleaner than it was before we moved in. After using their cleaners, they still tried to take £160 for a cleaning charge. The individual who has been working on getting our deposit back has been everything but competent, we had to wait 2 months for our deposit to come back. It's gotten that bad that even the property owner has mentioned to us that she will never use Chesterton's again. I would love to leave a 0 star but for some reason that isn't possible.Considering we had nothing fixed in the time that we lived in the accommodation, we thought we'd be able to leave the flat. Instead we had to pay over £600 to leave early.I would avoid using this company at all costs, not only will you have nothing fixed, but they will also try to scam you out of most of your deposit.

We are renting our flat through Chestertons and the whole experience since we moved in has been shocking. We are constantly ignored when we report issues and have to chase all the time. We have 2 ongoing issues one that was reported 3/4 months ago. We were told that someone called Fiona left and have been dealing with someone new who is even worse. No communication happens internally so when people are on holiday you have to start the process all over again. Would never ever go through Chestertons again

GoogleSimon was our consultant, it took him couple of views to know what we really want and he got it right, all the flats we saw after that where exactly what we are looking for, he is very professional and also very friendly, what we like about Simon is he made us feel like he’s our dedicated consultant, he gave us The right advice and didn’t leave us until he secured us the right property, we are very pleased with the whole experience, we think Simon has been a great help in helping us find our next home! We’re very happy with our overall experience with Chestertons!

GoogleBoth Chestertons and Matt, who dealt with our move, have been amazing during the whole rental process. Matt went above and beyond to show us a variety of properties at unsocial hours, dealt with all our queries and questions quickly and calmly and never made us (first time renters) feel rushed or panicked by the process. The whole process was very smooth, they were open and transparent with us from the start and there were no nasty suprises in the contract or along the way. Matt was always very professional and always delivered on his promises which has made our move so easy. Would highly reccomend Chestertons.

Hi please be careful of this company and their landlords as work has been carried out at a flat but the landlord and company are refusing to pay. Only £700 but the don’t seem to be sorry or to be willing to pay as they are not replying to calls or texts please other people be careful

I'm an landlord and I have recently signed a new contract with Chestertons for a new tenant. The starting date is set for 25th June, however, Chestertons only informed me when I asked them on 26th June, that the contract didn't commence because they need me to sign some other documents. Therefore, they had to push the start date to 29th June. I had to chase Chestertons all the time. They only arranged me the documents for me to sign on 29th June at 6pm! Both me and the tenants were stressed out on the day. But finally we got all the documents signed. Chestertons pushed the start date by 4 days which is a financial loss for me. And I only found out the contract didn't start because I chased them for landlord statement. I wouldn't recommend Chestertons as your property manager.
