The agent (Jack) dragged me and my family out Saturday morning to view a flat I was not interested in (and he knew that, but because the two were similar he might have decided to give it a go). He only informed me on the spot that the one I actually wanted to view (and the one we agreed to view) was not on the market anymore. The agent also did not even bother to greet us outside the development where we agreed to meet or call me to say where he was.I had to abandon the viewing right there.Terrible lack of customer time consideration and respect.This is for the Chiswick office of Chestertons.Update following feedback from Chestertons:- the viewing confirmation was sent very late in the day and I didn't get a chance to see it, so relied on the agent to show the property we agreed on the phone - which did not happen. - if a policy includes booking a viewing that the client did not ask for, want, or agree to, then there should be a consideration to change that policy.
Hi Anar, we are sorry to see you have left this rating and have since spoken with the team to clarify the situation. As there are two apartments currently available within this development, we tend to book viewings for both properties due to their similarity. Unfortunately, the first property did not confirm our viewing request, so this is why only one was available at the time.Our systems show that you received a confirmation email of this on Friday, as well as a follow up text message. We did not receive any replies stating that you did not wish to view the property. In relation to this development, we always organise to meet clients within the concierge/entrance hall of the building. Should you wish to discuss this further, please do not hesitate to get in touch.

Chesterton's management division is extremely slow, lackluster in its approach, and inefficient to say the least. They simply want to collect their management fees, however, when it comes to servicing the client they respond when it suits them and often by different individuals within the firm that are not up to speed with the matter at hand.I have unpaid rent and they are doing very little to resolve the matter. Furthermore, they take an extremely long time to respond thereby causing a delay in resolving any issues that need to be addressed for my rent to be paid.They lack professionalism and are purely focused on revenue as opposed to servicing their clients. If you want peace of mind and smooth and efficient service as a landlord, choose another company.
