As a first time buyer, it can always be anxious going through buying something and I’m so happy that I came to Barnard Marcus. The whole team are friendly, welcoming and professional. The whole process has been throughly explained, and whenever I’ve had questions they’ve been answered with care. Harley Perrio has been so helpful throughout my process! He is extremely good at his job and knowledgeable and it’s been great having him advise me throughout the time buying a property. I never felt like I was being pushed into a position or uneasy, quite the opposite! It’s been an exciting experience and knowing that Harley ‘had my back’, is definitely something that helps first buyers like myself. I would definitely recommend Harley as well as Barnard Marcus to anyone. Thank you to Harley, James and Evan, as well as all the other team that I have spoken to be it big or small! untrustworthy chancers

We had our placed valued and on the market with another agent. Barnard Marcus wrote to me to say they had a cash buyer specifically interested in our property. We varied our contract with another agent to allow for joint agency so we could contract with Barnard Marcus. After the contract was signed they ignored me for two weeks. There was no interested buyer. Fine, I fell for the oldest trick in the book, but as far as I'm concerned that's just dishonesty. They lied. Worse, they ignored us and had terrible customer service. Plus they got loads of details on the online listing wrong. I cancelled the contract during the cooling off period and I had to hassle them for several days (after the cancellation) to remove the listing. Unethical. Now, some brash bozo in their Southampton head office keeps badgering me on the phone. When I said I didn't have time to speak he rudely hung up. Needless to say, I don't recommend them.

AVOID MONEY HUNGRY

I instructed the Sutton branch to sell my property and, after some discussion regarding the asking price, my flat was successfully sold. I would like to say a big thank you to the salesperson and the sales manager, who were both professional, helpful, and a pleasure to deal with throughout the process. Unfortunately, I cannot say the same about the sales progression at the Sutton branch, and this is the main reason for my negative review. As someone who works in the property industry, I have a good understanding of the sales progression process from start to finish. Sadly, the way our sale was handled caused my wife and me a great deal of unnecessary stress. There were repeated issues with communication and constant pressure to meet deadlines so that linked transactions could exchange and complete, allowing the agents to receive their commission. Rather than helping to move the process forward smoothly, the experience became far more stressful than it needed to be. Thankfully, everything has now completed, we have moved into our new home, and the matter is behind us. While I appreciate the excellent work of the salesperson and sales manager, the poor sales progression experience means I cannot recommend the Sutton branch as a whole.

I cannot praise Evan Dyer, and his team, highly enough. As executor of my cousin's estate I contracted Barnard Marcus to handle the sale of his house. The property was on the market within days, there was a large number of viewings and several realistic offers were made very quickly. Matters proved complicated, and prolonged, mainly because of difficulties in establishing the boundary between the land belonging to the house and a large unregistered area abutting the property. Evan was always positive and quick to respond, he provided sound advice and facilitated the communication between all the parties involved. At one point he was in negotiation with three different solicitors as well as the prospective buyers and myself. Evan's input was highly effective and definitely went above and beyond what I could reasonably have expected. It was a pleasure to work with him. Each time I contacted the office I found the staff to be friendly and courteous. I was made to feel they understood all the issues and were keen to offer their support. If you need an estate agent in the Feltham area don't hesitate to contact Barnard Marcus. Thank you Evan.

Never use them to let your flat out they lie about tenants they are putting in

Used by my fellow homeowner & friend in our small block of flats . They lied to her told her a professional woman in her 40’s they had lined up to rent her flat . Absolute rubbish the woman that moved in very young here on family reunion visa no hate but they lied . There is now 3 adult men , that young woman & her new baby living up there in a tiny 1 bedroom flat . Noisy , other issues. I’ve complained to Bernard Marcus as a homeowner in same small block . TOTALLY IGNORED . Do not ever use them to manage your home as a rental - ever! Liars who do not care . They will know exactly the property I’m writing about in Chiswick . Near Gunnersbury station . Never bothered to address my complaint or concerns about the amount of people living in that flat with the so called ‘professional’ woman in her 40’s they said they had dealt with before & knew. Liars . The owner is trying to remove them - I hope she sues Bernard Marcus for their deceit and complete unprofessional behaviour . I will definitely back her up 100% .

STAY AWAY: 74 days of neglect, ongoing MOLD, and zero accountability. Avoid Barnard Marcus Feltham. I was moved into a house with 10+ major faults, including rotting trash under the cabinets and a broken shower, while I had been assured that there were no ongoing issues. The manager actually told me that since they "missed" the rotting trash during the move-in clean, I have to clean it up myself! The broken extractor fan was left for months, causing mold that is still ongoing and spreading today. Even now, they are trying to delay me by telling me to "use the portal" for a health hazard they've known about since December. It took 74 days just to get a working shower. On top of that, they admitted in writing that they forgot to give me a parking permit for my own bay, but they are refusing to pay the resulting fine. They take your rent and leave your children living in a moldy, broken home. Completely unprofessional and heartless branch.
