Hola! As first-time buyers, the whole process of looking for a home can feel quite overwhelming, but our experience with Darren Beckett has been genuinely excellent so far. Darren personally has been a great sales estate agent, professional, approachable, and very easy to talk to. From the beginning, he made us feel comfortable and at ease, which really helped take the pressure off such an important step. What stood out the most was how quickly everything moved. Whenever we viewed a property and asked if there were any other similar homes available, Darren would often arrange another viewing within a day. That level of responsiveness made a huge difference for us and showed how committed he is to helping us find the right place. We also really appreciate the fact that they are a private, local estate agency. The service feels much more personal, and we never feel like just another number. The whole experience so far has been smooth, efficient, and very pleasant. We haven’t actually bought a house yet as we’ve only just started our search, but the experience so far has been very positive. We’re definitely looking forward to Darren showing us more properties in the coming weeks, and if the process continues like this, we wouldn’t hesitate to work with Darren Beckett again in the future or recommend them to others. While Darren was very personable in person, he was rude in messages once an offer was made. I appreciate that my property offer was low and not accepted but the response felt very condescending and rude. As a young woman, I felt this was aimed more at my age and gender though of course with limited interaction, I cannot confirm this as fact. He didn't introduce himself at the viewing and appeared to dismiss me initially until it was made clear I was the buyer. As he owns his company, I was left with no resource to complain as to his behaviour except to leave a public review, which is not my preference but felt necessary. I would provide screenshots of the conversation except I do not wish to expose what could be sensitive price information of his previous sales. Frankly, the whole thing is just weird, confrontational, and uncomfortable. Edit: Just for clarification sake, Darren, the comparable houses we discussed were on the same street. The comparable you presented was a year and half old, while the ones I were discussing were from this year and were themselves larger properties and 20% less than the current asking price. I warned you we might be late by 5 minutes and we were in fact 5 minutes early. You also approached our vehicle while we were still in it without introducing yourself. Regardless, your tone was unprofessional and rude in messages, which is not disproved by your response. I am sorry we have had a poor experience with each other but I do wish you and your clients well going forward.

Steve came round and had an honest talk with me about what I wanted to achieve with my move. Yes I lowered my price but not by much. Weekly touch base calls and serious viewers only. AVOID AVOID AVOID ⛔️ Estate agent Vikki Allison very unprofessional, terrible service n simply does not care to sell your property. Not informed of potential buyers whom a couple having to contact me directly making me aware of their lack of help. Not even informed prior to viewings, sent reminder only night before. Board still left broken outside for weeks now when told fixed in 2 days. Advert incorrect stating '1 bathroom' when there are 2 bathrooms in fact . 3 toilets in total with 4 bedrooms. Left unchanged for a month after notifying them. Was told initially by Vikki I would be looked after as having mental health concerns but this woman, it would seem, deliberately sabotages any success. I have read all of these reviews n I am far from the first to receive a disgraceful experience.

From the very start, Darren was super responsive. We sold our house with Darren the very day it went on the market due to his diligence and superb marketing. Nothing was ever too much. All this was conducted from the overseas with a large time difference. Darren would respond promptly at awkward times of the day and night to accommodate us. They have been very helpful for our house selling journey. They contacted us regularly to inform us of any progress or just check in.
