I genuinely cannot recommend Lancaster's Estate Agents in Horwich highly enough. All the staff were exceptionally lovely from start to finish. I'd had a real nightmare with other estate agents but Anita, Jason and Emma really cared about me as the buyer and made me feel like nothing was too much trouble. They even offered a complimentary service to change over all my utilities etc to save me the hassle. I just picked up the keys to my dream home today and it definitely wouldn't have been possible without their support.

My experience of Lancaster’s was as a buyer. I had already sold my previous home and became aware that a house I had long admired was being sold by them. It was a pleasure working with them. They are extremely professional and at the same time the entire team is friendly and personable. I appreciate that these days there is nothing unusual about a period of 5 months from selling and leaving my previous property to moving into my new one. But the estate agents and solicitors responsible for the sale of a new property to my vendor were rather dilatory, to put it very kindly. Lancasters, and particularly Emma, their sales progression coordinator, did an excellent job in obtaining information, which seemed of the order of state secrets, from these people, to keep me informed about the status of my purchase. It was a great relief when it all happened and I am most grateful to the entire Lancasters team who did such an excellent job for me.

I couldn’t fault the service we received, from calling into the office to make the initial introduction to receiving the meter readings and exchange of keys. It wasn’t a smooth sale by any means with the buyer taking almost 12 months to complete. But, Lancasters stuck at it, keeping us fully informed along the way. I wish to thank Ben, Jason and particularly Emma, our ‘sales progression coordinator’ for the excellent service they provided. I wish them all the best for their future sales.

We had a very positive experience, buying our house via Lancasters. The staff team were excellent at carrying out viewings. They were reliable and we noted that they worked well together as a team. I can’t recommend Lancasters enough. From the initial valuation from Ben which was very detailed, but he also took a real interest in our first family home, they also priced it £20k-30k higher than the other agent we had round and we achieved close to asking price. Photographer and photos were 10/10, makes a huge difference these days. After agreeing the sale and purchase via another agent, we had an incredibly complicated and stressful chain…dealing with rubbish solicitors, difficult clients and probate. During this entire time Jason was professing the sale and spent countless hours chasing and moving the sale along, doing things over and above what he needed to do. I’m not sure our house move would’ve happened without Jason, top guy. We said we’d never move again, but if we did we would only consider using Lancasters. Thank you Ben, Jason & the rest of the Lancasters team.

Lancaster’s were supportive throughout the selling journey, giving me good advice at each stage. They worked hard to sell our property. It took 8 months to sell, but in a declining market this was not surprising in retrospect. We achieved a reasonable price. We dropped the price twice to reflect market conditions, and each time Lancasters managed the flurry of viewings well, giving me feedback from every one. I can wholeheartedly recommend Lancasters to people looking to sell a house in Horwich. I thought their fees were good value. And, the photos they took of the house were superb! I’m sure this helped, in Rightmove space.

What a fantastic estate agent this is. They felt like family towards the end.
