After a lot of 'waffle' and confusing fee structures from the 'high street' estate agents, it was so refreshing to work with someone who explained everything clearly and had a straightforward fee structure; one price, no additional/hidden charges such as ID checks, photography etc. Michelle advised me on everything from what I needed to do before the photographs were done and throughout the entire process and her responses to any queries always came back quickly. Michelle was great to work with and respected me and my property throughout viewings. The whole process was very easy and stress free and I would advise anyone thinking of selling a property not to feel beholden to the high street estate agents as you are not gaining anything from them, but paying higher fees. The majority of property searching is done online. I was a bit hesitant at first as I had bought my house before it all went online so Michelle was very reassuring that I was not 'losing out' by going online. I was (pleasantly) surprised at how easy and uncomplicate the whole process was. The only thing I arranged myself was for the EPC documentation.

We used open house to sell our flat. Michelle was amazing throughout the process. Michelle understood our worries, with this being our first sale, and was supportive along the way including providing recommendations/ guidance for our purchase as well. Communication was easy and sufficient and we were kept up to date. Viewings were flexible with potential buyers and not the normal Monday-Friday 9-5! If we ever needed to we would 100% use open house for our next sale.

I engaged Michelle to find a buyer for the family home of my elderly parents, who had been in a care home since November 2022. Michelle has been absolutely brilliant in handling the entire sale process and the emotions of my parents.. Whilst communicating primarily with me, Michelle visited my parents in the care home to explain the process and to assist them with the completion of the pre-sale documentation. Sadly my father passed away just prior to exchange of contracts, (this resulted in unexpected legal issues) however Michelle provided me with valuable advice and support by for example liaising with solicitors, arranging fence repair and house clearance. She has been exceptional and I have already recommended her to two friends. My wife and I both feel that Michelle has gone above and beyond what we would usually expect of an estate agent. I would therefore like to thank her very much for her help and support in what has been a very difficult and stressful time for us.

Michelle showed us a couple of flats in Horsham over 3yrs ago and sold us our first flat. Her service impressed us so much that we returned to her last year to use her services and unbeatable rate to sell the very same flat and to buy a house. We were gobsmacked that she immediately had a buyer for our flat it was more difficult to find a house. Communication was always very easy via txt, chat, email or quick call and she is always ready to help any time of the day. While shopping around for a house we also got to experience other big chain estate agents but they all turned out to lack customer care, professionalism and in particular knowledge (all about the commission and not about the client). Michelle is fab because her priority is to make sure that her clients are happy, a constant flow of communication (updates/feedback) and to give them support any time of day and she is very knowledgeable about nearly anything. We can highly recommend Michelle from Open House. I saved Michelle in my contact lists because we will be back for future purchase / sales.

I made my initial contact with Michelle through the Open House website, she responded immediately to my enquiry. I was interested in finding a tenant for an investment property I had just purchased.
