I’d highly recommend Dan, who consistently went above and beyond throughout the entire selling process. His communication was outstanding, reliable, clear, and proactive at every stage. Dan was my agent between 2019 and 2025 while I was a landlord. During that time he was super supportive, often going the extra mile for me. Dan has been easily the best and most helpful letting agent I’ve ever had the pleasure of moving to a property with and I’ve moved a fair amount of times. Extremely personable whilst maintaining a high level of professionalism. I moved to America and my brother who was the co tenant remained in the property we leased, my brother then passed away and I cannot thank Dan enough for how easy he made dealing with the termination of the tenancy while I was half way across the world. He knew the market area and secured several asking price offers on our property within the first couple of days on the market!! Having had some poor experience with local letting agents in the past, I was nervous about letting our apartment again, but Dan has proved that there are some great people still out in the property industry, who aren't just out to make money. He's been brilliant in giving advice on the best way to rent out, answering queries, and helping to get us back up to speed with being landlords. He helped further by connecting us to his network of contacts, to get electrical, decorating and maintenance issues sorted swiftly, to make the property ready to let. We would highly recommend Oakmont Property Consultants. Dan exceeded expectations and was available via Email, Telephone and WhatsApp (our preferred choice). His team produced high quality photos of our house and it was marketed on all the major sites. The first family to view made a very good offer and we accepted . Unfortunately the sale did not go ahead but Dan was there to support us and he found another interested family within a couple of days. We have now moved to our forever home and are very happy. Dan was recommended to me by a family member who manages their rental property. When I first started having conversations with Dan over a year ago he was very supportive, he gave me good advice during the time my property was being managed by another agent. When the tenancy ended we decided to go with Oakmont Property Consultant’s as we were not happy with the previous agents who were managing our property. I have recently moved to the area from the North and Dan has been absolutely incredible! After driving 4 hours down to view a different property which got cancelled as I arrived in Essex (through a different agent), I saw the property I am currently in online and Dan allowed me to view the house the same day, he was then extremely proactive in the process that followed! Since being in the property there has been a few issues with the house and Dan has been a star in getting the landlord to sort them out as quickly as possible! Having dealt with Daniel several times over the years, I can reliably recommend both him and the service he provides. He is a personal agent unlike most of the other companies in the local area, meaning you get a much more personal touch, no passing of files across once sales are agreed or legals are happening, he is always available and is a consistent presence throughout the process, getting in front of any problems that arise and making sure our interests are looked after above all else. He was great at keeping the chain posted (when several others definitely were not!!!) and staying on top of the solicitors too.
