Blake was prompt, always available for help, responded to calls and emails as soon as practically possible by actively/proactively following up from sales to completion. John is very knowledgeable, provided genuine opinions/advises and helped when sales progression needed a nudge.
They are one of straight talking Estate Agents, which is very rare these days. They were understanding of my points, views and concerns, which made me comfortably speak. Very positive experience, I'd certainly recommend.

GoogleWould give 0 stars if I could, they steal your rent deposit money and get a bogus cleaning company who charge more than the deposit you put down. They never came to inspect the property I was renting and Elle was so unprofessional going behind my back phoning my partner and quite honestly needs training up and needs to brush up on her facts a bit more. Brad was rude and put the phone down which is very unprofessional and improper. The property was completely mouldy and damp and james dean didn’t want to know which is illegal by the way. Over all I would avoid like the plague!

I would like to break your review down for our reply:

Of course, we cannot steal rent money or provide a bogus cleaning company. Due to you vacating the property and leaving almost all of your belongings including a bed, sofa, TV stand, chest of drawers full of clothes, kitchen utensils and bathroom cabinet, the landlord had to arrange for a removal company to take the items away. The property was also not cleaned after you had vacated. The inventory was provided to you and you were given the chance to remove the items and clean the flat. We did accompany your partner to remove some of the belongings after the tenancy had ended which totalled around three hours.
"They never came to inspect the property I was renting"
Your landlord had not chosen our Full Management service therefore we would not carry out routine inspections.
"Elle was so unprofessional going behind my back phoning my partner and quite honestly needs training up and needs to brush up on her facts a bit more"
Due to your circumstances with your partner, we would have had to call him as we could not speak to you together. We also would of had to call him due to your accusations which gave us concerns. We are unsure what facts require brushing, Elle has been trained very well.

Brad was insulted on the phone and no member of staff in any profession should be spoken to like that. Brad was not rude to you and explained, once you called back, why he terminated the call.

The property did not have a history of damp and mould with previous tenants, if you had any concerns when the issues started, your landlord should have been the first point of contact.
"Over all I would avoid like the plague!"

GoogleWe were so impressed by the professionalism, competency and emotional intelligence demonstrated by Blake when viewing properties with JamesDean, that we switched estate agents to JD for the sale of our property. This turned out to be an epic decision because Blake sold our house on the first weekend (previously on with two EAs for a few months). Agreeing the simultaneous sale and purchase is just the start of the race however. I must give a huge shout out to Sam, who was instrumental in progressing our sale through a chain with an incredibly difficult bottom link. Rob runs a great shop at JD and when things got super stressful, was always there to talk and bring calmness. I would (and have already) recommend JD.

GoogleWe are very happy with the support we’ve received from Blake as well with Jack, from viewing time, during the process (referencing) until contract signing and moving into the property. They have been extremely attentive and responsive to all of our concerns, addressing any issues promptly and professionally. Communication has been clear and reassuring throughout, which made settling into the house much easier. We really appreciate their dedication and excellent service.
We are extremely grateful for the outstanding support Blake has provided since we moved into the property. He is very hands-on and genuinely attentive to our concerns. When new white goods were delivered and the delivery team did not install or set them up, Blake went above and beyond expectations. Even though he was off duty, he took the time to come in and personally fix and set everything up for us.
His dedication, professionalism, and willingness to help made a huge difference and really showed how much he cares about his tenants. We couldn’t have asked for better service and highly recommend him.
