We have just exchanged contacts on a house purchase through Sowerbys (Holt). From the first time we had contact with Laura at the negotiation stage and then with Joanna the service we have received has been first class. Both Laura and Joanna have been open and honest throughout the process providing regular updates on progress. When we did run into issues Joanna was very proactive in liaising with the other agents and solicitors in the ‘chain’. We were on the buying end of a house sale that Rachel from Sowerbys was instructing. So while Rachel was in theory working for the other side, we found that she was extremely informative, clear and professional, but it never felt like she was pushing us, and gave us the space to think. Having said that, if we ever needed to get in touch with her, she was at the end of the phone-on work days or not! Would recommend for sure. Olivia

What can I say! I have been so pleased right from the very start how the team at Sowerbys worked to sell my dad's bungalow. From the very first valuation about a year ago when dad was getting ill, to listing the property, then the viewings and then all the work to do with the sale and keeping me informed we're second to none. Dan came to value the place and came back again when we finally needed to list it. Friendly, happy and filled us with confidence. Then the listing.... Wow. It was amazing the way the bungalow was presented. We actually got an offer within hours of it being on the market. We agreed an offer within just a few days. I want to give a special shout out to Joanna Lobb at Sowerbys who handled all the post sale work. She worked her socks off on our transaction. We have recently moved here from the US and had a lot of learning on the fly. Joanna was responsive, professional, answered questions honestly, all while maintaining a sense of humor. Laura Bird, the listing agent was polite and did a good job advocating for the vendor. However, she was fair and quick to respond. My overall impression is, Sowerbys is a solid company, with highly competent people. I would most likely list with them if down the road we decide to sell. No offence Sowerbys, but I hope that won't be any time soon.

We have been extremely impressed by the professionalism, efficiency and helpfulness of everyone at Sowerby’s who helped us sell our property. Laura Bird is very skilled in matching clients to a particular property and quickly secured a buyer. She is an excellent negotiator and made sure that we obtained the best possible price. Joanna Lobb who took over once the sale was agreed has been brilliant in making sure that the sale made it to completion. We have had a few sticky moments along the way and Joanna has been so helpful throughout. She has always been at the end of the phone, even outside her normal working hours.
