Highly recommended - Megan from Yopa, Dundee & Angus

We dealt with Megan from Yopa, Dundee & Angus to buy our new property, and I honestly can't praise her highly enough. In a really tough property market, we encountered a number of hurdles to get to completion stage, and Megan was incredibly helpful throughout the process. Great communication with both us and our solicitor, clear and patient advice, and a really thorough, professional approach. I don't know how we would have managed without her! Would recommend without hesitation.

I couldn't recommend Yopa highly enough

I couldn't recommend Yopa highly enough. Michael Wady and Jake Somers were very professional throughout the process. Due to our situation, we needed a speedy sale. Both Michael and Jake were supportive throughout and very compassionate to our circumstances. Michael conducted the valuation and viewings and was personable and transparent throughout. We were very impressed with how he conducted himself and explained the process and the Yopa pricing structure. Jake was also excellent and negotiated on our behalf. He took the pressure off us towards the end of the sale which we were so grateful for as it had been a very tough seven months following our bereavement of a close family member whom we were handling the estate on behalf of. Both Michael and Jake were extremely professional and courteous to us throughout the process. We managed to secure a reasonably speedy sale and this was due to the professionalism of Michael and Jake. We really appreciate all of their hard work and support as we draw this chapter to a close. I would like to wish them both well in the future as they continue to progress their careers, they're both superstars and excellent at what they do. From the second I enquired with Mark about putting our property on the market i honestly could not fault a thing. The whole process has been so smooth and I would recommend Mark + Norma to anybody! Superb agent, save money

We went with Yopa to sell our house as it was much cheaper than a high street agent. Very pleased that we did as it not only saved thousands in fees but Dan Burbridge was excellent. Always available via WhatsApp and got our house sold. I would not recommend going with the conveyancer suggested by Yopa though as we didn't find them very good but would definitely recommend Dan as your agent.

Yopa agent was exemplary

I chose Yopa not because of the Yopa platform or organisation but because of the local Angus agent, Megan McMillan, whom I felt was the best of the many agents I had assessed. I had expected to go the route of the typical more old fashioned shop window agent but found that in the last 20 years the way they operated had changed. Fees had reduced but so had the willingness to be available. Traditional agents were putting the onus back on the seller. One agent could not even be bothered to come and meet me. This was not the case with Megan at Yopa. She was as 24/7 as one could reasonably expect. She knew her market and took the lead in everything. She organised everything efficiently and the Yopa platform seemed to bring in a good amount of viewings though some small aspects of the Yopa auto communication system could do with some improvement. The Yopa admin may only be 4* but the agent was 5* and that was what mattered. Like it or not this is the new way of selling.

Absolutely shocking experience with…

Absolutely shocking experience with Yopa, the original photos they took were bad quality so they were requested to do them again, they missed vital information in regards to the layout of the house and they constantly requested us to drop the price although they had given us a price it was worth! So no Yopa we weren't prepared to drop the price by 30k! Would absolutely not recommend Yopa to anyone! The estate agent we are currently with are excellent and the care and time they have put in is outstanding

I regret using Yopa as my selling agent. I would urge everyone considering Yopa to avoid them completely. As they get paid regardless of a sale they do not put any effort in selling your house. They are not proactive at all. They tell you all what you want to hear in their sales pitch to get you to use them, but the reality is far different. A recent example of how bad they are: a buyer put in a request on March 12th in the evening. They wanted to view it on March 16th, but no one arranged the viewing. On March 20th I asked why the viewing never took place the first response was ‘sorry for the delay’. I asked for an explanation why the viewing was not arranged and the admin staff Tilly replied ‘Laura has been very busy with appointments and has not had time to deal with new viewings.’ This response should indicate the professionalism of the company and what they think of you as a customer. Since I have put a complaint which was not taken seriously by Yopa the my agent Laura has been no contact. Previously when the agent was busy she would ask Tilly to carry out tasks, but after the complaint this has not happened until I have chased this up.
