Paul took the time to look in to my problem with the deposit once the reason for the miscommunication was established. Paul called me and explained what the problem was and why it had arisen this morning and apologised for not being able to help me earlier. Thankfully, it has now been resolved and we can move forward.

TrustpilotRude and problematic
Very difficult to get replies from emails throughout tenancy. Deposit not returned 17 days following request to Paxtons (despite landlord not having any disputes) which means we could not pay the drposit on our next property. Owner (Paul Horwood) unsympathetic, rude and abrasive on the telephone. His reply was ‘ I don’t know anything about lettings so I can’t help you’.which is shocking if you own the company, Staff absence means the issue will not be dealt with in time for me to move house and he just didn’t seem to care about that! Would not recommend dealing with this agent for lettings.

I felt at ease throughout the whole of my sale and purchase because I knew the amazing staff at Paxtons were doing all they could to make sure things ran smoothly. I would definitely recommend if you are thinking of selling or buying.

GoogleStay away . They rejected our application and never returned our money back. We have applied to three different agencies in the past and just because we have young children had all been honest enough to reject our application and returned the money . These people look honest but are rip-offs !

Dear Aspasia This is an completely inaccurate description of events. You were advised at the very outset that if a referencing check was commenced that this fee would not be refundable. This is also on the agreement that you signed and verbally agreed to. I would not publicly place the reasons why you were not able to proceed with the tenancy, other than that you failed to complete the application even though we chased you continually for the required information. We dealt with you extremely fairly and reasonably and it was your own failures in not providing us with the accurate information for being the reason why your application was not progressed, not our not accepting you. It is absolutely nothing to do with young children as we whole heartedly encourage families of which the majority of our properties are let to. We explained the reasons to you on numerous occasions, but this was to no avail.
