She offered expert support and thoughtful guidance through what was a significant and emotional milestone for our family. Her communication was prompt and reassuring, and she navigated a few complexities with calm efficiency. Alison Martin’s oversight was also excellent, ensuring a smooth completion and keeping us well-informed throughout. The whole experience felt very personal, and both the practical and emotional aspects of selling a much-loved family home were handled with empathy and integrity. Highly recommended.

We have had a great experience so far renting a property through Macleod and MacCallum. Sarah-Anne (letting manager) has been extremely helpful in getting a rental that fitted what we were looking for (in a very scarce market). I have so far found the conpany good to work with, any other staff I've interacted with have been friendly, and they've been responsive to any communication or maintenance requests. Really recommend for property rental.

Outstanding agency. We rented (2019-2024) for 5 years and Sarah-Anne Gow looked after us every step of the way. She was very professional at every inspection and was approachable when an issue cropped up and it was easily resolved. We were told in good timing if inspections had to be moved and when tradesmen would be accessing the property. Would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking to rent/buy. Very poor service

Very little correspondence on a relatives will and distribution of it. Have taken 2 years and still no where near the end. Never disclosed fees and just kept stating its a complicated situation. 2 years is far too long and never contacts exectours unless they contact first. Totally disgraceful....... lost so much respect and they need to be made aware, we are their employers, we are paying them for a service and its a service they are failing to deliver.

Mac & Mac have dealt with the lease of our property for almost 20 years. I can't rate the staff in the lettings department highly enough, namely Gemma Duncanson (our first point of contact and always ready with help and advice), Sarah Anne Gow, Karen and Jane. Our thanks to all you girls. We decided this year (2023) to sell the property and were transferred to Janette Dillon, who dealt with the sale professionally and efficiently and secured the asking price for us. Many thanks Janette. Ultimately, we have to pass on our gratitude to Lindsay Bishop for handling the legal side with speed, efficiency and professionalism. Thank you also Lindsay. Obviously they “police” this page as there are no genuine negative comments. The “director” we dealt with was incompetent and careless. A house sale and purchase was badly handled by a supposedly competent person- we are a small group of people who do not agree with the comments on this site. And having spoken to others - we are not alone. No recommendation from us !!!

Rory Carson dealt with our purchase in Scotland as we were moving up from Cambridgeshire. I can’t praise him highly enough. I thought I was doing the right thing by giving a Letting Agent a brand new flat ‘To Let’ We decided to check the flat in between clients, to find appliances beyond disgusting. I immediately contacted Macleod & MacCallum to complain and ask why it was in such a state the response I got from the Letting Manager and a Director of the company was extremely disappointing. The directors words to me - I have a property myself unfortunately that’s what your up against!! After my complaint M&M took ‘various’ companies to try and bring the appliances up to a decent standard but unfortunately an appliance has been left badly scratched which nothing can remove. They were paid them to look after this property and quite obvious they weren’t doing this, it disappointing that it took a complaint for them to act. The property was removed from them. I would NOT recommend this company!

Brilliant conveyancing, cannot fault our dealings with Mac and Mac. Katrina Ashbolt is fantastic. We have found her highly professional, but really approachable and an all-round good person. This is the second time Katrina has looked after a sale/purchase for us and I recommend her very very highly. It can be stressful buying and selling a property and at a time like that, it is important to have someone who is supportive and understanding. Katrina is just great, gets things done and keeps in touch and at the same time has a great sense of humour and is really likeable. Would always come to Mac and Mac and Katrina, she has been amazing.
