The team at RyeView are brilliant. My partner and I had been hunting for a rental property for a few months. After finding a suitable property with RyeView, we were able to secure the flat with ease on the same day. Amjid and his team made accommodations for a face to face appointment about the property, which would normally be a phone call but we had travelled a few hours for the viewing. We felt like we were made a priority, which was a nice change to other estate agents we had spoken to in the area. We can’t wait to move into our new home!

Property: 8 Benjamin House, Malmers Well Road, High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire, HP13 6PE. Disappointing experience with Ryeview Homes. We contacted them about this property and initially the agent who handled our enquiry was kind and professional and arranged a viewing for my partner and me. Shortly after, the manager (Amjid) called and pushed me to visit the property alone the very same day, while also complaining about his own team, which felt unprofessional. I visited the property that afternoon. It was acceptable but quite dated and there was a noticeable mould issue around the windows, which the agent hosting the viewing acknowledged. We made a serious offer: we are a professional couple with stable senior roles and way above average combined income. We offered to treat the mould issue ourselves and proposed paying 6 months’ rent upfront, requesting a modest reduction in rent to reflect the condition of the property. We were told the offer would be presented to the landlord and that we would hear back, but unfortunately we never received any response. As prospective tenants approaching the process seriously and transparently, the lack of follow-up was disappointing. Based on this experience, we would not consider dealing with properties managed by this agency again.

My wife and I saw a great property for rent by Ryeview and with only a short amount of time left on our current tenancy we were eager to get things secured as quickly as possible. Ryeview had arranged a viewing the very next day after we called them to request one. We were met at the property by Cheryl who was showing some other families around before and after we had our viewing. The property had a lot of interest but we never felt rushed during the viewing or that we were just another family. Cheryl, who must have been very busy that day, never ushered us out of a room or told us our time was up. We loved the place and put in our offer later that same day. We were told the next day that we had been shortlisted with a few other families. We then got another call the next day from the director, Amjid, who asked us a few questions and gave us some further details on the property and landlady. We didn't expect to hear back on a decision until the following week but Amjid called us after working hours on Friday evening to let us know we had got the property. This really meant a lot to us because of the tight deadline we had to move out and also because we really loved the property and were really keen to secure it. Shortly after that we were then sent out all the relevant paperwork by Mellissa who also answered our queries about the process promptly and expertly. Cheryl, Amjid and Mellissa have been extremely helpful in helping us get through the paperwork and referencing etc. We even asked if we could go by the place to measure and take pictures so we could buy furniture and get an idea of how we wanted to decorate etc. Cheryl happily obliged and met us at the property. We're now very excited to be moving in and having an ongoing relationship with Ryeview who we're confident will be responsive to any further queries or issues we have as tenants. In fact, we were really pleasantly surprised by how well Mellissa was able to accommodate us and our needs with the current tenants requirements. We would like to say a big thank you to Cheryl, Amjid and Mellissa. My wife and I are both very happy with the service we've received so far.

Ryeview Homes is by far the best estate agents I've ever come across. I've heard of other people's varying experiences of renting through agencies, and have had mixed experiences myself, so came into it cautious, but I was shocked by the level of transparency and simplicity of their whole onboarding process and the friendliness of the staff. They really go that extra mile in making sure you are informed and receive a warm welcome into your new property and do their best to be flexible and accommodating for individual needs. To top it off, we got these amazing welcome boxes as a gift from them. I can't recommend them enough.

Hi everyone! I am a tenant and I must say that I have NEVER before experience a situation such that. I rent a Flat straight away as I found a job in High Wycombe and a felt from the very begging that they are "throwing" me into the flat. Everything was old taps dripped, moisture problems. With huge delays they sent a professional who's tried to deal with the cheapest option on their behalf. But the funny thing is that they blame me for the situation! I can hear them now telling me that "every time you are coming with a list of problems"! Another common practise is that for any matter they want to avoid, you are dealing each time with a different employee of the office. So you can never say "I told you last time", always is someone new to say "Sorry I am not aware about that... my sincerely apologies". Just stay away from them, at the same street you will find many other professionals.

If I could add more stars I would! Fantastic service throughout! I sold and purchased my property via Ryeview Homes and not once did I have to worry about anything. Amjid was very considerate through the whole process and made me feel at ease in both the sale and purchase stages. Cheryl and Kayleigh were great too! The whole team made sure they would be available anytime I needed a question answered! Having been told by other local estate agents that I had to reduce my house price to sell, and then being told the market is slow etc etc... I only had to have one convo with the guys at Ryeview and was happy to go with them. One week of advertising, three viewings, 2 offers..... Where RyeView stood out against other estate agents was their determination and proactive approach to selling- not like the others who just wait for Zoopla interest!!! Most definately would recomend the whole team at Ryeview- thank you all for doing such a wonderful job!

Extremely Disappointed

My parents had rented out their newly renovated property through Ryeview for a year. Before putting the property up for rent, the whole house had been refurbished.Due to not living in close proximity, we had full faith in Amjid to ensure the house remain intact with tenants living there. In that period we heard rumours that the tenants had damaged the property. After several calls, Amjid had gone around and asked the tenants to fix the damage. The damage was then fixed. Amjid messaged us to say “ The tenants would like to put a TV bracket on the wall.” The tenants also stated that they would “Remove the brackets, Fill in the holes and paint over them”. After a year my parent had decided to move back into the property. When my parents moved back in and upon further inspection they had found a lot of damage in their newly renovated house, After messaging Amjid nearly a month ago, I still await a response into why the tenants have not paid for the damage.
