Exceptional Service From Scott Stevens

We moved into a property in Clifton, Bristol last year with Romans. Since our first interaction, Scott Stevens has been an absolute delight to work with. Scott has consistently been kind, compassionate, incredibly hard-working and has answered all of our questions promptly. In all the years I have rented, Scott has comfortably been the best letting advisor I have encountered. I honestly can't stress enough how easy he has made the process of moving into a new home for my partner and I. I could not recommend Scott more highly if you planning to let with Romans.

Fantastic service.

I met Christine Lancaster since January 2020 I rented this property, she is a wonderful property manager to me. Anytime I needed something to be fixed in the house she didn't hesitate to get it solved. English is not my first language so sometimes I find it a bit difficult to explain my needs but she'll be patient and polite untill she gets what I meant.

The Worst Estate Agents Ever!

The team at Romans High Wycombe were the worst I have ever come across. I have been renting since I was eighteen and have never experienced such a disregard for my health or well being. I took on the property in June and was plagued with heating and hot water problems. The property was damp and destroyed both my skin and chest. I actually paid my rent in full and moved out of the property early. Lisa is unprofessional having lied to me and ignored my complaints. She left me in freezing temperatures without both hot water and heating. I find the team in High Wycombe especially the property manager Lisa both disgusting and morally without conscience. I would not recommend Romans to anyone.

We had some unpleasent experiences with our downstair neighbor. Fortunately, Romans, especially Monika Milewski, took it very seriously and got the landlord to agree on an early release. At the end, everything turned out well, but we did fear for some rather large expenses, since we paid 6 months up front. Luckily, they found a new tenant very quickly, so only ended up paying an early release fee. Highly recommended -- they care for their tenants.

I have just completed on a property and dealt with Romans Maidenhead branch. Both Adam and Chloe supported and guided me through the process along with Cheryl who joined at the end. All three were brilliant. They got me answers quickly and worked with both solicitors to push the sale on. My only advice would be to get the move managers involved far earlier in the process. As soon as Cheryl was involved things moved very quickly. This would have really helped to have her earlier in in the process.Thank you all. You were great

We were renting from Romans agency in Bath. We left as soon as our contract ended. We got a flat in a building with a night club and homeless shelter across the street. And nobody tell us this. Apart from the noise and questionable security, what about the crowds every day and every third night in a middle of pandemic? Bottles, glasses, handkerchiefs or just semiliquid waste on the street. Everybody is free to do whatever he wants but I had to be witness of this for 6 months? This is deception, as a solicitor told me.We were renting from Romans agency and never again.

Professional Service and Helpful staff - Lower Earley

Lower Earley Branch - After reading the reviews, other branches do not seem so successful, however this branch is very good. Staff respond promptly to queries and a very helpful and friendly. I am happy to be renting on of their properties as I feel looked after. Other estate agents in the area were very unprofessional and lacked prompt communication. Antony is particularly helpful. I only knock one star off as it was not disclosed within the tenancy the frequency of inspections to my property, this part was very vague.

We cannot thank Romans enough for every step of the sales process. Even during ‘lockdown’ they secured a buyer in just over three weeks. The staff at High Wycombe were amazing; responsive, proactive and professional. Their Client Liaison, Lyndsey, shone and kept us in the loop. Stephanie, Chris and Callum worked so hard on our behalf. If only our buyer’s buyer had also used Romans then the date from sale to completion may well have been quicker and the transition smoother. Romans have been so helpful throughout the entire purchase from start to finish. They were flexible when it came to the viewings and making sure i could view it multiple times before i put the offer in. They were highlight knowledgeable about the property and were swift between offer and accepted. I used the recommend Romans solicitors also and the team managing this were responsive and helped drive an accept to complete in 2months during covid (both buyer and seller had no chain).
