GoogleTerrible estate agents. This establishment is beyond laughable, it's shocking they are allowed to operate after the amount of laws they've broken. Tenants are ignored and not viewed as customers. I've had several legal disputes with them and they had to be forced by the environmental health branch of the local council to take any action on the mould growing in several rooms in the house, because they had done nothing, despite months worth of pictures, phone calls and emails from me informing them of the issue. During the time where the work was being done they had me put up in pitiful accommodation which can only be described as a small room. They have allowed themselves entry into my property without my prior knowledge or consent on more than one occasion and both the police and council were informed of this. About 2 weeks after the work was carried out the mould started to grow back. Although the mould was indeed the main issue, it was far from the only one. I've had to replace a broken toilet seat because they refused. I've put up with a broken oven since I moved in, because they simply refuse to acknowledge it's damaged. Leaky taps, broken radiators, a damaged front door, all of which I've paid for because they simply refuse to deal with anything that isn't making them a profit. The one 5 star review on here was written by a member of their sales team, a horrible man with the interpersonal skills of a 2 year old who's had his favourite teddy taken away. I would do yourself a favour and run in the opposite direction of these disgusting con men.

YellHelpful When Needed
I have recently started renting through Chiltern Hills, they were extremely helpful when trying to find me a property as I needed to move in as soon as possible. I was able to move in to the property I chose within the week which is much faster than other places I went to. The admin fees i found to be much cheaper than most agents as well which was very good as moving house is expensive enough already. When I went in it was a small office but that made me feel more relaxed and was even offered some tea while I waited! I would recommend trying them especially if you also need somewhere to move into quickly as They sorted me out no problem and made sure I left happy.

I have been renting through Chiltern Hills for 2 years now and in that time I have never experienced a problem with them. They provide a good, friendly service and are always helpful.Last year when my boiler broke down I called them up to get someone to fix it, they told me it would be fixed in the next few days. The next day I received a call from them saying they would be sending someone round that same day and my boiler got fixed. I was very pleased with this quick service.I would definitely recommend Chiltern Hills to everyone that is looking to rent. Their fees are cheap and they are very genuine.

GoogleThey set an appointment for a viewing, that too on a weekday. After traveling for a long distance by taking a day off from work, they call 2 mins prior to the appointment to say that they cannot get hold of keys to the property on that day. So irresponsible!

GoogleI just moved in to a new house, I came to check the room, not only the room was messy but the bed was in really bad conditions. They provide me with a brand new bed and mattress and the room has been deeply cleaned. Highly recommend this agency :)

GoogleTerrible. If I could give a minus score I would. The worst service EVER! Took nearly over a year to vacate my property and sent out of date Notice forms which were no longer valid. Whenever you call the person of contact is never there - you are promised a call back...I called for FOUR DAYS and still no contact back. Save yourself the hassle, time and money - use someone else. Absolute nightmare!

GoogleIf 0 stars was an option - I'd choose that! :) Chilton Hills are the WORST estate agents ever. They rip you off at every opportunity and send false documents to try and get themselves out the the hole they're in. They are fake, fraudulent & liars. They have no care for their tenants, they only want your money & wont return it to you! If you have any common sense go with anther agent!

GoogleWe had an appointment today at 6 to visit a property, called earlier to confirm the appointment, and after travelling 30 minutes and waiting 1 hour, nobody shows up. We call the agency and they can't even tell us whether there is someone coming or not. Horrible service, I definitely wouldn't recommend using this agency to find a property.

GoogleI would love to give them negative stars but there isn't an option. These guys are frauds! AVOID AVOID AVOID. They uses threatening behavior and have tried to charge me for a bill 5 years later when I wasn't evening living in the property. Its fraud and I will be going to the police and reporting them to rogue traders. Please don't get scammed by the Chiltern Cowboys and stay away!

GoogleIf there was an option to give no stars I would. This agency has the most AWFUL customer service I have ever come across. Our concerns were often ignored and any response we received was rude and totally unprofessional. Definitely the worst experience I have ever had with any estate agent. I should have listened when I was told not to use them as they are TERRIBLE.

GoogleAbsolutely dreadful from start to finish. Completely incompetent in every aspect and still no deposit refund after calling office 14 times and texting 6 times over last eight weeks. Do not recommend this company to anyone stay well clear .

GoogleWilliam supported my son getting into a rented property. This was quite a complex transaction as I am acting as Guarantor but live in Doncster. I found all of the people I dealt with very supportive with quick responses to queries and things requiring clarification. I have worked with lots of Estate Agents and found Chiltern Hills met my expectations

GoogleHalf of the 5 star reviews for this company are by people with "Shah" as the surname... With a number of 1 star reviews that mention having to take legal action against a Mr Shah.... Very suspicious! Take your property and your money elsewhere. I don't expect much from estate agents with the reputation the profession has, but Chiltern Hills have set my expectations even lower. AVOID.

Try ANYWHERE else. Completely incompetent place and a waste of your precious time. There are so many other estate agents that you should choose before looking here. Disgusted 100%.

GoogleAmazing service by Chiltern Hills Estate Agents, from beginning to end. All members of staff have been extremely courteous, professional, proactive and super responsive. From the moment I saw the property, throught my contract with them, and the handover at the end. I look forward to future dealings with CHEA, service can't be faulted.
