GoogleAbsolutely brilliant service, extremely helpful with a stressful move with a two week turn around. Helped ensure contractors finished work to our move in date because we had no flexibility. Would absolutely recommend them, very efficient and friendly.

GoogleChiltern Hills have been absolutely brilliant and at such short notice. Myself and another 4 students were in a difficult situation where some of us were on the verge of being made homeless. We made contact with Ali @ Chiltern Hills very late on the Saturday evening, by Monday morning Ali was showing us around properties he had available and even fast tracked our move in as he knew that at least 3 of the 5 were on the verge of being homeless - We were moved in by the Wednesday evening. I've had quite a bit of experience with estate agents, both on sales & the lettings side and I genuinely have been surprised by how brilliant Ali & James at Chiltern Hills have been. Ali has been replying to WhatsApp messages at silly times, even close to midnight. He's answered any query we have had and actioned any concerns we have raised. The best part, there were no chase up calls from Chiltern Hills pressuring us to choose a property, they were very patient and not at all pushy. I genuinely cannot fault Chiltern Hills and would recommend them to anyone. They do genuinely care and aren't only about the money. If you are being shown a property owned by Sak then I recommend him as a landlord as he has been brilliant too.PositiveResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism, Value

GoogleThe worst agency in High Wycombe. Avoid them at any cost. I rented a property via them & if we report any maintenance or repairs, need to wait for months to get it fixed. When I asked for tenancy renewal they told me to repaint the whole property even it is clean. They arranged someone by themselves and gave a heavy quote, which I later refused to pay after a talk with landlord. These guys are just greedy people & are not committed to the work. They are still holding the deposit without giving any clarification. If we call the they just play by transferring the calls.

Google2016 experience We agree on a property to rent, paid a fee as well, sign some documents. In the meantime, in good faith, I notified my previous landlord about my intentions. One week later I was told,via email, that the landlord, for the new property, changed is mind so I'm out of the discussion. I think they had found a better deal for the landlord to be honest. So here I was technically ''homeless'' without my fault. CHEA had put me in a real weak position. Therefore, I would not recommend them for business. However, I have to say that at first the staff was very good with us and like them in comparison with bigger estates from HW. Maybe is was just my bad luck.NegativeProfessionalism

This estate agents was the only one of the only ones in the area to jump through hoops to get me into viewings. An agent called Luke has been very nice and professional. Would highly recommend

GoogleContacted Chiltern about a flat I was interested in and needed to move in within a week, Ali was very proffessional, provided a video tour on the same day of contacting them and quick about sorting my tenancy agreement/flat inspections for me to move in on time. GoogleOne star is too many for these people. AWFUL estate agent. If you do rent with them just know they are not very smart. If you take photos of everything before and after you leave you will be fine. They took over a month to sort out the check-out report and when we got it it was ridiculous. They had removed the fridge, the freezer, the washing machine, took photos with them missing and charged us for replacement. The whole garden shed was missing and again we were blamed for this. Me and the other tenants are four young students with no need for a shed. It was absolutely outrageous. The whole check out report was fabricated and they let other people destroy the house before making the check out report. When this all hit the fan, Chiltern Hills told the landlord we were bad tenants but told us that the landlord was a bad landlord. Playing us off of each other. Thankfully we finally got into contact with our landlord and due to his understanding, we got some of our deposits back. Chiltern Hills also attempted to scare me by e-mailing me saying they would take me to court for “defamation” in an e-mail that made no sense and had spelling mistakes everywhere. Honestly, if you’re going to scam people you need to be smart about it. Everyone who works there is totally useless. No skills in the property management industry and they lack basic knowledge of the most commonly known letting laws. Safe to say they broke most of these laws during my tenancy. Honestly, Wycombe is a dive in itself. If you have to live there, the least you can do for yourself is not use this estate agent.

GooglePlease don't go anyway near Chilterhill if you want to rent or buy a house.They conive with landlord to sit on tenant's deposit when they are moving out. Imagine staying in house for 12 months and the landlord is charging 1,250 GBP for redecorating, 539 for cleaning and another charge tagged others 368. All in the bate to avoid paying back our deposit. Finally, if at all you want to ask for record of deposit repayment.

GoogleI've been talking to Chiltern Hills about letting out a student house with a few friends for a month or two now. They've all be really wonderful, especially David who has dealt with his fair few problems from our group, let alone other issues from other groups. He was lovely and easy to talk to about any issues we had along the way with letting the house. Overall a wonderful and stress free experience thanks to the assistance of David and the rest of the Chiltern Hills team.

GoogleI fully recommend the team at Chiltern Hills. They spent a lot of time helping us and the other prospective tenants through the initial process, contract and guarantor checking. They were patient and helpful when we had a few queries and hurdles, the landlord was flexible with the summer residence take over. When we hit a significant problem the team, especially Ben, were brilliant and eased all of our issues and concerns. I've seen the comments about being profit driven and that may be someone else's experience but it certainly wasn't ours. Chiltern Hills actively chased a problem we had that could have been expensive for us. They had a watertight contract and would have been paid anyway but they worked to solve the problem for us. I thought the whole experience was good from start to finish and I would be happy with CH being lettings agents to one of my children. My advice is if you have a concern or problem talk directly to them, Ben is very helpful, understanding and supportive. Five stars from me.

GoogleThe worst estate agents I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with. They never answer emails relating to tenants problems but will call at all hours if they want you. One agent called my flat mate and accused him of lying about the shower being broken despite it having come off the wall and him being 200 miles away! Completely unprofessional and an absolute disgrace. I could not more strongly recommend against contracting this agency.

I feel I should share my experience as I can finally say that I moved into my new house in Bourne End quickly and with no problems thanks to the help from the estate agents, Imran was kind, professional and most importantly honest (a rare thing for an estate agent) and managed to make our transition from prospective customers to tenants in a matter of days and with zero hurdles. Given my experience I would recommend Chiltern Hills to any prospective customer looking to move to around High Wycombe . Thanks Imran and all chiltern hills family for all your help.

We are students and we are renting a 4 bedroom house on Suffield Road. The first impression of the house let by this estate agent? Well the house wasn't fully tidy and ready but we got told this was down to the previous tenants, also students to do the professional cleaning and there were some rubbish left in the garden that the inventory clerk has missed out on. As you can imagine we were not impressed but after a first phone call to the office and speaking to Ben all the issues have been resolved within a few hours! This is our fifth month of living in the property and despite some minor issues we are really satisfied with the service. Ben is really useful.

My experience with this estate agency was extremely disappointing. After living in the same property for four years, I faced constant issues such as poor maintenance, persistent rubbish left by other tenants, a broken lift that was never repaired, and mould on the stairways and walls. When I moved out, the process was difficult due to their lack of professionalism and communication. They initially refused to return my deposit, and I had to visit multiple times to request my deposit account details. Only after I threatened legal action did they comply, and I discovered the deposit was held in a different scheme than specified in my contract. The agency was unresponsive and took three weeks to send the checkout report. They proposed a partial return of my deposit with deductions for alleged work but provided no supporting evidence or receipts. I caution anyone considering this agency, they are unprofessional, unreliable, and lack respect towards tenants.

GoogleThis has been the single most unprofessional organisation I have ever dealt with. Landlords please go with any other estate agent and save everyone the hassle. The faster this companies goes out of business the better for everyone. Did not resolve issues, ignored complaints, illegally withheld deposit, unjustifiably tried to contest without evidence, but the worst part is their non-existent customer service and aggressive attitude. Had to threaten with legal action and exposing their terrible behaviour via the media to finally get our undisputed deposit released. Do not use.
