GoogleWe recently completed the purchase of our new home in Penge, and we couldn’t be happier with the process, thanks in large part to the service provided by Jason at Propertyworld. Jason really went the extra mile in providing information about the property, facilitating viewings and supporting us through the purchase process. He answered our many questions, always responding promptly and with clear, detailed information. He also helped facilitate communication with the vendor. Buying a home can be stressful, but Jason helped make the experience genuinely positive. We would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone looking to buy in the area. Thank you, Jason!

GoogleUpdate: Thank you for responding to my review. The problem is not whether or not I get accepted by the landlord, but the lack of feedback and follow up from your company. The comment on my personal situation, such as how I am "relatively new to the UK and at the time, not working" is also not that relevant. The focus is on how I wasted my precious time on viewings after which the agent just ghosted me. For your information, I have offered to pay rent upfront, given that I am not working full time at the moment. So, this will not necessarily put me in a disadvantage compared to other applicants. But again, the discussion is not on how strong or weak my position is as a candidate, but the lack of response from your agents. Yes, I am thankful that you waited for me for 30 min to do the viewing. But the viewing is in fact futile in retrospect, because no one followed up. If you are not interested in taking me as a potential applicant, then please say so, and don't tell me to submit my application and pay the holding deposit as it is "first come, first served". Anyway, thank you for getting back to me here on this platform and I do wish that your company could improve your service in the future. Original review: The service this company offers is poor and unresponsive. The viewings were arranged promptly, but there was NO follow up afterwards whatsoever. In fact, after the viewing, I was told by the director Richard to place an offer through email with my details if I was interested. I sent him an email within one hour having viewed the flat as I would like to pay the holding deposit. On the phone, Richard said he would go through my email and give me a response tomorrow morning. But, by tomorrow morning, there was no response. It was only a few days later when I did another viewing that I bumped into RIchard, and he told me the landlord needed more time to consider the various offers. He said he would let me know when he had updates. Unfortunately, it has been TWO WEEKS so far, and he has not responded to my email, or given me a follow up. The SAME sitation happened with another flat that I did a viewing through propertyworld. Again, after viewing, I was told that there were many people interested in the flat, and if I am interested, place an offer through email. AGAIN, NO FOLLOW UP AT ALL. Given the highly competitive and time sensitive nature of renting in London, with bidding wars everywhere and avaliability given to whoever who first pays the holding deposit, how could the letting agent not respond quickly, or in fact, not respond at all? If the landlord decides not to rent to me, please at least follow up and let me know? Overall, time wasted, and very frustrated with the lack of response and communication from the director of the company. If there is the problem of communication even in the viewing phase, if you do end up renting with propertyworld, and have problems with repairs in your flat, will the people at this company even follow up in a timely manner? I have my doubts. Fortunately, I have secured my place having found another letting agent company that is a lot more responsive, professional and communicative.

Samson I have replied to you directly and as I said I would, I am now responding to your review on this platform. I have apologised to you directly for the lack of feedback after you placed two offers with us. On the first, as I explained, the landlord took far longer than we had hoped to decide, but ultimately chose another person. On the second property we had 12 offers including yours. Again, the landlord preferred another candidate. I accept as a company we failed to keep you informed as we normally would. In a extremely competitive letting market, your position, being relatively new to the UK and at the time, not working, put you at a disadvantage when other applicants were in a stronger position. We did all we could to assist you, including waiting for you for over 30 minutes after our final viewing on one occasion because your train was delayed. I am pleased you have now managed to secure accommodation, I apologise again for the lack of feedback, and I wish you the best of the luck for the future. Richard Crowley

GoogleI have been a client of Propertyworld Penge for eight years. Being a family business, they give their clients more personalised service than the corporate agencies. They have found me very good tenants and managed the property well, making sure it stays in a good condition, while at the same time securing the market rent. I would particularly commend my agent Jane Weremuick in this regard.

GoogleHorrifying. I was a tenant for 6 years and they left our property to rot ignoring structural issues for 14+ months. During the 14+ month ignoring period they upped our rent by £300pcm with 1 months notice with no mention of fixing the damaged caused by leaks and subsidence. Avoid at all costs!!

Absolutely terrible agency ever. They never come back to you, no answer at all on emails. The responsible person is never there either working from home, or is not in the office, or is off sick but never there. It takes ages to book a viewing and this is if you constantly chase them up and then if you decide to rent no answer from anyone. In fact after sending all document as requested by agent from viewing (bank statements, payslips) at least someone should get back to me even if is a negative answer. This is totally unprofessional.

GoogleProperty World, Penge are fabulous! We bought our 1st home and then sold it 5 yrs later dealing with Jason who is just great! Not going to lie, my past experience of estate agents (not from PW!) hasn't always been great but we always felt Jason was honest and not just giving us a pitch. We also worked with Sharon during the sale who was also great and worked hard to get it through quickly. Thoroughly recommend Property World for buying and selling.
