Selling property can be an absolute nightmare, but Paula has been absolutely amazing throughout the long and over extended process of selling our property. She is very knowledgeable, thorough, responsive and so so great to work with, I cannot say enough about how she supported us throughout the entire process and I would highly recommend her if you are in need of an estate agent to buy or sell. The other staff at Wright Marshall were also very helpful, responsive and professional as well. Thank you Paula for making the horrid process much brighter!

I can not recommend the team at Wright Marshall, Buxton highly enough! The knowledge, support and care they have shown to me whilst selling my late Mother’s property has been wonderful. There were complexities around selling this rural property but the hard work that Pete, Jordy and especially Paula have shown has been truly outstanding. Paula left no stone unturned when resolving the challenges, working alongside my solicitor she kept me regularly up to date, making the process much less stressful. I can’t thank them all enough! I would also like to add that both the sales and letting team are all lovely, there is a super atmosphere within their office and they made me feel most welcome. Thank you.

Good but a few issues

We had previously used Wright Marshall in the sale of our previous and purchase of our current home, so had no hesitation in requesting a valuation when selling my mother's house. Louise's enthusiastic approach to the house and appreciation of its potential set her apart from the other agents who came to view. It has been a difficult sale though, thwarted by unforeseen problems with the house and some bad luck, saw 2 buyers having to withdraw. Louise helped to secure a 3rd buyer but it has been a painfully slow and frustrating process. Communication between the agents and solicitors has been poor, hence the four stars and I have had to act as a go-between to keep things moving. The solicitors involved must also take some responsibility for this however. Having said that Louise, Lauren and Hannah have always been great to deal with, responding to my many emails with courtesy and a friendly personable approach. Lauren has been especially supportive over the last few weeks up to completion, when again circumstances out of our control threatened to stall the sale once more.

I definitely do not recommend this company. We have been renting a house for almost four years and live in very poor conditions. Mold and dampness. The company completely ignores requests for repairs. All requests and reports are swept under the rug. In a word, I advise you to stay away from them if you are planning any cooperation with Wright Marshall. I am attaching a photo of mold in the bathroom. We were left alone with this problem.

What a shambles this whole experience…

What a shambles this whole experience was with Louise and her team. Massively over promised and massively under delivered. No follow up on visits, early turn ups and no contact to re-arrange, no contact with customers after visits (couldn't get hold of them apparently?) visits made with buyers who left damage, broken pictures, moved items - agents said they had no idea and blamed us. No weekly chasing of our buyers (who was also one of their clients too) when asked about slow progress, blamed the stamp duty deadline and they couldn't help us, total surprise (although I don't actually buy this) when our sale fell through due to legal issues on our buyers sale - if they were chasing both sales they would have known that as the issue went on for three months, but we were made to feel like we were the problem for actually daring to ask for regular updates against periods of no information being exchanged between solicitors. When we tried to exit the agency agreement that is when Louise went into over drive (shame she didn't show that level of engagement during our agreement) when we got threats of compensation, holding us to the exit period and then saying that she was disappointed with us!! Left feeling totally frustrated, underwhelmed and blamed. This week we got an extensive list of customers from Louise that if we sold to them through another agent she would want 'remuneration' - this list was over 20 people although only 5 walked through the door. Beware the sunny show - it is all that is a show and you will be left frustrated. Shameful.
