Although the sale process was very slow and tedious, this was down to solicitors, however the team at Wright Marshal were very helpful during this period in chasing up and assisting in between with updates. The staff at Wright Marshall Buxton branch can be highly recommended. What is a difficult and stressful time selling my daughter's house, who sadly passed away in March plus the fact that I am an elderly mum not in the best of health. We had a frustrating experience with this estate agent throughout our sale. They repeatedly pushed for unrealistic completion dates and applied pressure for us to move quickly, seemingly to suit others in the chain rather than considering our circumstances.
Communication was poor, rather than picking up the phone to discuss important matters, they relied heavily on email, which often led to delays and misunderstandings. It also felt like they were biased towards our buyer, prioritising their needs over ours.
What stood out most was their constant criticism of our solicitors, which came across as unprofessional and unnecessary. Instead of facilitating a smooth process, their approach added stress and tension.
Overall, we were disappointed with the lack of balanced support and constructive communication. We wouldn’t feel confident recommending them based on our experience.
