GoogleWe purchased our new home via Gascoigne Halman. Whilst waiting (a long and difficult time) for the sale of my house to progress through a different estate agents, Gascoigne Halman were extremely professional, supportive and sympathetic throughout the selling/purchasing process. It was unexpected and really appreciated. Chloe, John and Karen have been amazing. We know that they will be the estate agents we make a beeline for if we ever sell. Thank you!

Informed us that the property we were moving out of had been re-let. We then rushed to clear and deep clean the property. Rang several times on the day with no answer to then be told any day before Thursday would be ok. We were then informed by another call 10 minutes later that the property had infact not been re-let. Severe lack of communication therefore making us pay another month rent & bills.

My partner and I were first-time buyers and engaged with Gascoigne a few months ago.I don't know if it was because we were first timers, or if it was just the influence of a poor seller, but we were gazumped and the total lack of professionalism and a pure run around followed. Their team there have left a bitter taste in my mouth and given me a poor view of them.If you're first-time buyers I cannot recommend engaging with the Glossop branch at the very least least.Buying with a nearby competitor we found the experience was far better, with more updates, better information, and an increased amount of respect.

We've just bought a property through Gascoigne Halman and they have been super helpful and communicative throughout the whole process. Tracy Ryan in the Frodsham office has been lovely and always responded to our queries (however bizarre! We have asked a lot of questions haha!) promptly and happily! We never felt like we were too much trouble. Thanks to everyone at Frodsham Gascoigne Halman!

Regan & the team have been an absolute delight to deal with and Regan has frequently massively gone out of her way to help us with some tricky situations solicitors have put is in. Her professionalism and dedication clearly shows as her updates are frequent, thorough and well measured. I really do recmmend the team if you're loooking to be well informed every step of the way and have a team that actively chases the conveyencing parties which can at times be very difficult to deal with! Keep up the amazing work, Ben & Victoria.

We have been looked after by Regan Barry, Lettings Negotiator and she deserves a special mention for her attentive and professional manner in the entire process. We are just about to go through a valuation of our current owned property with Gascoigne Halman, and if their current practise continues, I look forwards to more positive results from them. We recently sold and bought a house using the Frodsham office. We met with 3 local estate agents before deciding who to use and we chose Gascgoine Halman Frodsham as they had the most local knowledge and were the easiest branch to get in touch with.As is often the case, the whole house move process was quite lengthy and frustrating. But Tracy in particular helped us out with advice, chasing up solicitors and helping to keep on top of the process. I don’t plan on moving again anytime soon, but if I did I wouldn’t hesitate to use their services again.

FacebookAfter leaving my rented property in May, i still have not received my deposit back. It took me over 2 days to clean the place before moving in, and i made sure the place was better than i found it when leaving. Yet the landlady refused to sign off my deposit and i got Zero help from Gascoigne... the land lady walk in on the flat without notice, once whilst i was stuck down with covid, and you wasn't allowed to visit people. Now i am left to chase MY money back. Avoid these guys, they do not help when help is required.

My main contact was Chloe, she was awesome and all the team are great. We achieved the asking price within a week of the property going live and everything was pretty much plain sailing from then on! 👍👍

Excellent process with Gascoignes, from initial meet with Markus, market appraisal right down to the wire.Market knowledge and valuation was spot on. Photography clear, perfect contrast and house write up excellent and accurate. Brilliantly managed by Lucy Kershaw throughout with very timely comms and updates. We felt she managed potential buyers very well and helped maintain the integrity of the chain as it developed. Viewings all managed professionally and consistently too. Viewing requests started coming in within an hour or so of being released online. Offers started a few days after viewings and final offer just over a week later. Just excellent team all round! Thank you all.

Extremely poor customer service. No communication and appear to also be quite judgmental towards single parents. I am still waiting for them to call me back but regardless of weather they do or not, i definitely won’t be letting a property through them.

Told the woman named Susan that I would be a student working in my holidays off uni whilst getting a mortgage. Been lead on to sign a lifetime fee of 600 pound to use there advice for the next 6 month for unlimited advice. Now being told she didn't know I was a student when I have clear evidence on my side I told her. Lawsuit imenent. This firm will lie to get money Out of you. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY, GO EPSEWHERE.
