Dream Home Purchase

We recently bought our new home with Ryder & Dutton, Rawtenstall, and we were thoroughly pleased with the communication and efficiency throughout the process. Adam was particularly amazing, managing the early stages of our purchase in a way that made us feel like he was on our side, rooting for us to get our dream home. Grace managed the progression of the sale, keeping us informed and actively chasing solicitors on both sides to ensure the smooth running of the purchase. We’ve dealt with Ryder & Dutton branches before, in different areas, and never received this level of attention and service. Can’t thank them enough.

I cannot speak highly enough of Ada. Don’t hesitate go with Ryder and Dutton.

I cannot speak highly enough of Ada, who managed the sales progression for my recent property purchase. From start to finish Ada was absolutely excellent: professional, proactive, and always on hand to help with every step. Ada kept me fully informed at every stage, explaining what was happening, what came next, and answering every question clearly and patiently. Nothing was too much trouble; she chased up enquiries promptly, coordinated seamlessly with all parties, and took so much of the stress out of what can often be a complicated process. Especially in comparison with another big named estate agent (WH BROWN who dealt with the selling side of my home) they do not have a sales progression manager and do not give the service like Ryder and Dutton. Ryder and Dutton have been amazing and if I was ever to buy or sell I would chose them without hesitation! Adas organisation, attention to detail and genuinely helpful approach made a huge difference. Thanks to her hard work, everything progressed smoothly and completed exactly as planned. If you’re buying or selling, you really couldn’t ask for better support, I’d happily recommend her to anyone.

Buying a property

We were buying a property and the vendors had used Ryder and Dutton as their estate agents. Jenny had been assigned the sale. Jenny was proactive throughout, not just in finding solutions or chasing up documents, etc but also in communicating where the sale was up to. She provided updates on a frequent basis and even checked in when there wasn't particularly any movement just to let us know where things where up to or whether she was chasing something. She certainly put us at ease.

Naveen and Ada are heroes

We used Ryder and Dutton for both our sale (Rochdale) and our purchase (Rawtenstall). Our main contacts were Naveen Naheed and Ada Grundy, though everyone we spoke to at any time during the process was professional and helpful. To say Naveen and Ada went the extra mile to get our sale and purchase completed is a total understatement, they each ran an extra marathon! In the face of frustrating delays they persisted in chasing various third parties, and were always on the end of the phone to give us updates, our just allow us to vent our own frustration at the long drawn out stages of our sale. Naveen bore the brunt of this, as most of the problems we encountered were with the sale of our Rochdale property, but throughout the process Ada kept in touch, and kept our purchase on track through her reassurances to the vendor of the Bacup property. Both these ladies were our heroes, and literally kept us (just about!) sane throughout the proceedings. Naveen and Ada were both absolutely brilliant in their efforts and attitude, and finally were instrumental in bringing our sale and purchase to successful conclusions in the face of many delays and difficulties. They deserve and have our heartfelt gratitude and praise.

I recently instructed Ryder and Dutton to sell a property in Heywood. From the outset, I spoke to the branch manager Fran, who I found to be both knowledgeable and professional, answering all questions I had initially and making my choice of which agent to use an easy one. I found the second agent uninterested and simply after a quick sale. Jenna attended to take photographs and was professional throughout taking time to achieve images that best displayed the property. Tom was then appointed to manage the sale and I found him very professional throughout. He would regularly update me, communicate effectively with all parties, to include solicitors and took the pressure off me. I would not hesitate in recommending Ryder and Dutton and thank all involved, who ensured a smooth process throughout.

Ryder and Dutton were great from start Dylan from Oldham branch then our move manager , Geraldine .She was great! During our purchase we hit some very difficult times but Geraldine was always contactable and did her best to really push things through and recommend things to do . She also explained things in easy to understand terms as legal wording can be very complicated. My only complaint isn't with Geraldine or any of the team from Ryder and Dutton but for recommending Birchall Blackburn Solicitors. They are an awful solicitors to deal with very very slow and communication is awful. I wouldn't recommend them at all and maybe look into future recommendations to clients .

Geraldine was fantastic as my move…

Geraldine was fantastic as my move manager. I was able to get in touch with her instantly if I needed anything, nothing was too much trouble and she assisted me as best she could with the process even when there were delays. Dylan who assisted with my sale was also fantastic and discussed offers and negotiations immediately, offering fantastic advice along the way and Tony was lovely when he came to value the house. I had my house valued with a number of agencies but Ryder and Dutton gave me the best estimate and were able to get the ball rolling quickly! The proof is in the pudding when you see the number of Sold signs through the borough. All in all I would recommend to anyone thinking of getting their house valued or selling with Ryder and Dutton. The service was fantastic!
