Selling houses can be a challenge at the best of times, and choosing the right estate agent to facilitate a very stressful process is imperative. I chose DBK from past experience as I purchased a house from them during the early noughties. However this time I did consult other agents before making the final selection cut and DBK ticked all the boxes for me and I didn't let past history sway my decision. Their sales process reflected professionalism and a wealth of experience from compiling the necessary marketing materials consisting of floor plans and photos to all other legal aspects required to sell a house. What I especially liked was being informed of each and every viewing appointment and the feedback following such viewings. DBK have been around a long time so their brand is well known hence I was fortunate to have had many viewings through them, my sole agent. There were hiccups and disappointments along the way, some consternation but that's to be expected as purchasing houses does bring out the true nature of potential buyers wanting their forever home. However the team consisting of Gurveer, Alia and Kuljeet effectively demonstrated their expertise and tackled the issues with a sense of aplomb, inclusive of my demanding expectations. I'd like to single out Alia who performed admirably, was always reachable by phone and was instrumental in pushing through the final sale of my property. It was an odyssey from start to finish, however I'm glad I had chosen DBK as my shipmates to help me navigate the choppy waters of a challenging housing market. If you're thinking of marketing a property and want honest representation without the hollow promises, then I'd more than recommend the dependable team at DBK.

DBK found the tenants for my property a few years ago and claimed they were 'good as gold'. Since they moved in, these tenants became a nightmare. After a few years I decided I wanted to remove these tenants from my property. I informed DBK of this and then found out that DBK deposited the money into the deposit scheme extremely late. This caused a massive problem for me and made it harder to remove the tenants. I spent nearly £25k on lawyer charges and property repairs over the course of 7 years as a result of this. This just goes to show that you shouldn't trust a wolf in sheep's clothing.

They don't return deposits, moved out nearly 4 months ago and still haven't received my deposit back even though the house was left in a good condition. Been a customer for more than 15 years. You call they always say they will call you back but that never happens. We have been very patient but at this point you can tell there isn't much honesty. The agency and the landlord keep passing the blame around but nothing has happened.
