We are currently in the process of selling our 91 year old mother’s house which is extremely stressful for her and her family. Our mother has had to go into a care home and to be close to one of her children she has moved from Tring where she’s lived for over 50 years. Right from the start Brown & Merry understood how difficult we were going to find the whole process and from initial contact with Alan, the Branch Manager, and since with Sylvie as lead Negotiator, we have received so much support and empathy. Sylvie has been particularly helpful and efficient, is always friendly and professional. She goes out of her way to update us fully at every stage and we feel reassured that she’s helping us to keep an eye on our mother’s house as the family are not on hand. Thanks to Sylvie we are now very happy to have a firm proceedable offer and the prospect of a fairly early completion. We are very satisfied indeed with the service she is providing and are sure she does the same for all her clients. She is very definitely an asset to the team. Dear Yvonne Following the exchange of contracts last week I just wanted to email to say a big 'Thank you' to you and your team for all your help throughout the process. Although as the buyers we were not directly your client I found you very helpful and supportive. It was very helpful to be able to talk things through with you and felt you saw things from all angles. You helped mediate regarding the fixtures and fittings and without your help I think this could have been more of a sticking point and prolonged if left to the solicitors. You were always very efficient in your communication and this was much appreciated You and your team, particularly Jamie and a young lady who showed us round on one occasion (sorry her name escapes me) were all very professional, conscientious and helpful. Following a recent and very poor experience with a London estate agent you have restored my faith!

We were on the hunt for quite a while for a 4 bed rental in Tring. Found a beautiful home with Brown&Merry. Jo and Emily were great throughout the whole process. All I can say about Emily is that we left her office after picking up the keys to the new property and my husband said: " I wish she was my employee !" and he's not easy to impress !:) Always helpful and smiling. Nothing seemed too much for her from the day she showed us around the property until handing the keys over, she made everything feel so smooth and straightforward, couldn't recommend Emily enough! Very knowledgeable and helpful. Thank you both so much! Enjoying every minute at the new house guys.

Emily and Jo were fantastic from day 1. They were polite and consistent, and always went the extra mile to make sure things were as simple and straightforward as possible. When we popped in to collect the keys on Saturday, Emily was polite and thorough, even though she was obviously having a very busy day! We never felt rushed or looked over; we felt very valued. I don’t think they even bother to read reviews. They let my property to a tenant who paid 6 months in advance. After 5 months she asked to change to monthly rent payments. A smaller agency would have sorted this out within a week. These people have had 6 weeks and nothing happened. Their departments don’t talk to each other. Just like a Franz Kafka novel.

i registered with brown and merry over a year ago and i am more than satisfied with the service i have received from them , the examples are to follow , the agent who was allocated to evaluate and place my property on the market went the extra mile to support me through that process , he was very understanding when i told him how dissatisfied i was with the very poor service i received from the tour operates Leger after i had returned home from a Christmas and new break . Brown and merry also allocated a solicitor juno who they are partnered with to deal with the legal side of my property sale which saved me all the hassle of finding my own independent solicitor online which would have been very challenging for me because i have a condition which effects my communication and sensory processing skills . I visit the watford branch of brown and merry where i am based every Wednesday afternoon to have a one to one session with my agent who A helps me convey essential information to Juno online , ie the date my boiler was serviced , the location of my water metre , the date of a fire safety check took place , and the i needed to officially declare the date's i had essential services carried out on my property . There are several branches of brown and merry in Glasgow entitled Alan and Harris where i am intending to relocate to who will help find a future property for me , meanwhile my agent browses through all the one bedroom flat property's in west end area of Glasgow with me online to save me the hassle of doing a property search all on my a task which i have no previous experience in , My agent has also taken a lot of time and effort to locate a removal firm in Glasgow called Pickfords who will both store my furniture during the transient period and move it to my address . i have not been required to do anything regarding the sale of my old property and purchasing a new one on my own volition thanks to the marvellous work of Brown and Merry !!they are miricel workers and life savers ,,!! they have even arranged to book me into a hotel during the transition period while my rented accommodation is being sorted out . so i give brown and merry an A double a starred and they definitely deserve a ten out of ten .
