I have sold my house through Miles & Barr and didn't realise how good their service was until I started contacting other agencies regarding my purchase. They always ensured that I received feedback on any viewings and I was contacted regularly to discuss these so as to determine the best strategy in order to secure a sale. The manager was also happy to give me some advice about how to approach a very competitive buying market. Kind friendly staff - thank you!

Never again will I get in contact with Miles and Barr, you’re given false information and get passed around on the phone to different people that don’t know what they are talking about. I had a viewing booked that I was specifically told could not accept an offer until ALL the viewings has taken place. I now receive a call with an offer being placed and nothing more they can do when being fed false information. Very unprofessional and unorganised people that do not know what they are talking about.

I concur with everything that has been written in the 1* or less category!My brother and I inherited a flat in Broadstairs and in 10 months they have not succeeded in getting any interest apart from some individuals who made an insulting offer some 35% below their assessed valuation.The property details were inaccurate from day one, and despite numerous attempts by my brother and myself to get the agents to amend them, no action was taken in the whole time they had the flat on their books.To sum up, the staff are untrained in basic communication skills, they are pushy and rude when you do get hold of them on the phone, and nobody seems to be in charge or able to motivate the staff to do what they should be doing. i.e. provide a service to whatever the client has initially been promised .Self serving, is accurate,as another client wrote in their one star review; if it were possible to go lower than 1 I would do so without hesitation.Lazy indolent and unprofessional in the extreme would be my summary.Do not use this firm, they are dire even by the measure of the average estate agency these days, and that is saying something!!

Miles & Barr were fantastic from start to finish. This was all down to the wonderful Louise Daly. She was so helpful when I didn’t have a clue what I was doing, professional and assertive, yet so friendly and kind. I would recommend her and the company in a heart beat.

Disgraceful firm, no care for tenants, no repair work carried out. They will leave you in a damp mouldy house with leaking roofs without any care in the world. All this with 4 kids In the house. Avoid at all costs

I had to sell my father’s house in Deal, Kent. I was not that familiar with the area so didn’t know which estate agent to choose. I was advised by someone I know in the property business to “choose the very best estate agent in the town, even if they’re more expensive than others”. Well, I asked around and the feedback was “Miles & Barr”. I did have 3 other estate agents pitch for the sale.Well, the house is now sold and I just want to say a big thank you to the team at the Deal office for all their help, advice, encouragement and professionalism. I have to mention Matthew, Natalie, Joslynne, Brandon, Rebecca and also Emma from the Sandwich office who, together with the Deal team, guided the sales process through from offer to completion to ensure there were no unnecessary delays.
