We recently sold our property through Boardwalk Estate Agents, and despite what turned out to be a very challenging and stressful sale, the team worked incredibly hard to get us over the finish line. A special mention has to go to Chris Palmer, the Sales Progressor, who was absolutely outstanding throughout the process. The sale was far from straightforward (despite there being no chain) and involved dealing with an extremely difficult solicitor on the buyer's side, which caused numerous delays and frustrations. Through all of this, Chris remained proactive, calm, reassuring and professional. What really stood out was his communication. He was always incredibly quick to respond to messages and calls, kept us updated at every stage, and worked tirelessly to keep the sale moving forward when it felt like things might stall again. We were particularly grateful that, due to the urgency of the situation, Chris even took the time to deal with matters during his annual leave. This transaction certainly tested everyone's patience and sanity! However, Chris's persistence, dedication and support made a huge difference, and I genuinely don't think the sale would have reached completion without his efforts. I'd also like to mention Rhia Lloyd, who was a real pleasure to work with from the outset. She did a great job with the valuation and marketing of the property, and her advice and support helped get things off to a strong start. Although Chris was our main point of contact during the sale progression, Rhia was always happy to help when needed and stepped back in towards the end when things were becoming particularly challenging. We really appreciated her support and the part she played in helping us get the sale over the line. Thank you to Chris and Rhia for all your hard work. We are now happily settling into our new life in Brighton, and we're very grateful for everything you did to help make that happen.

I’ve just recently managed to sell my flat in Bristol through working with Mike and Ruby at boardwalk. Both were helpful throughout. Mike organised a steady flow of viewings and managed my expectations well. He was also very helpful with the flat as I couldn’t make any visits in person myself. So big thanks to Mike for that. Ruby was also good and kept chasing the buyers to keep things moving forwards and kept me updated. There were a few delays so the sale did take a while but I don’t attribute these to the team at boardwalk. Overall I’m glad to have sold the flat through the boardwalk team.

We did experience some difficulties with boardwalk - see below - but when Rhia Lloyd (normally on sales/client side I believe) took over our sale progression it made a huge difference. Rhia went above and beyond to help unpick a difficult sale (time zone difference, illness in the chain, stressful deadline). She stayed up late and got up early. There were times when I got stressed but Rhia brushed it off and carried on. Great job. Rhia and the sales side of Boardwalk seems very good. The sales progression side does seem poorly staffed and slow. It was hard to get through to them or to get a quick response.

Great experience buying and selling with Boardwalk, everyone we encountered was professional whilst being human and genuine. We were overall happy with the service and found the team friendly and easy to deal with. The communication from our sales progressor was generally good, and the photos of our home were excellent. However, we do feel that we could have received a similar level of service from another local agent at a significantly lower cost. At times, it felt like our sales progressor was advocating more for the buyers than for us. As first-time sellers, we would have appreciated clearer guidance at the start of the process, as we often had to ask for clarification on what to expect. There was also an early pricing error when the property was listed higher than agreed, which, although quickly corrected, wasn’t an ideal start. Overall, a positive experience in many respects, but with some areas where clearer communication, stronger representation, and attention to detail would have made a noticeable difference.

Boardwalk were brilliant from the moment I got in touch and really stood out from the other agents I spoke to. Cameron was my point of contact for listing and the sale, and Ruby was my sales progressor.
