Really disappointed with this agency. We chose them based on positive reviews, but our experience has been the opposite. From the very start things went wrong, our first scheduled viewing was cancelled on the spot because the agent couldn’t get into the flat. The door had issues and the keys didn’t work, which they should’ve checked beforehand. No one communicated about rescheduling either; we had to chase them with multiple calls. Once we finally got through, Kadie was very helpful and responsive during the tenancy process, but unfortunately she left the company a few days later. After that, everything went downhill. Communication was poor, and we had to chase them constantly just to get updates. We ended up signing the tenancy agreement only one day before moving in, at the very last working hour, extremely stressful and unprofessional. When we moved in, we discovered more problems. During the viewing we were told parking was included, but it turned out the flat doesn’t actually come with parking. After further chasing, they gave us a space, but one that’s being shared with someone else. On top of that, maintenance is a nightmare. We’ve been dealing with a broken toilet (currently flushing with a bucket) and despite reporting it, nothing has been done. It’s been three weeks and we’re still waiting for the key fob we were promised as well. Overall, the agency is extremely poor at communication and follow-through. We regret choosing them and hope others have a better experience than we did. It’s just unfortunate because the flat is lovely and we were planning on staying long-term, but unless these issues get sorted out it’s unlikely.

We are currently in the process of renting a property through Haart and overall we had a great experience with Kadie. She was incredibly responsive and always quick to address any questions we had throughout the process. Her knowledge of the properties and the rental market really stood out, and her kindness and patience made everything so much easier. Kadie also provided a detailed video tour, which was extremely helpful in understanding the condition of the property before viewing it in person. Overall, we are very happy with the service we received and would highly recommend Kadie to anyone looking for a rental property!

I am considering selling my property and renting in Hemel which is a different area for me. I have only great things to say about my experience with Haart Lettings. From the start first finding my property, all the paperwork and everything between to finally moving in, the estate agents and especially Ryan Tift have been amazing help. Ryan was always a message away and helped me as soon as he could; he kept me updated throughout the process and helped ease all the anxiety about my move. He was happy enough to meet me at the property and talk me through the property and gave great details about everything I need to know. If you are looking for a company to manage your property, please do not trust this Haart office. We fell for the high google rating, but have been very disappointed with a service that is incompetent, venal, and unprofessional. I have let my property with Haart since Sept. '22 while I live outside of the UK. I have had two tenants in that time and the only time when we have had good communication from Haart is when they wanted to ensure that we signed on a new tenant through them. Otherwise, they do not respond to communication. We have rent arrears and property damage from the previous tenant that has been poorly documented and left unresolved for months after the new tenant has been rushed in. Ryan certainly helped us when the new tenant was being signed on, but has been noticeably silent when it comes to rectifying his office's lack of QA, communication, and professionalism. We had to follow their internal complaints procedure and raise a formal complaint to get any sort of response, but even then Ryan and his team are ignoring any request to resolve the thousands of pounds in arrears and damage.

It is very rare nowadays to come across a Property Manager who is genuinely knowledgeable about the industry and who truly cares about the upkeep of their clients’ properties. Irfanali has proven time and time again that he can assist in any situation and deal with any problem, regardless of how complicated it is. He treats both tenants and landlords with respect and does not hesitate to go the extra mile to ensure every single issue they come across is resolved speedily and efficiently. Irfanali is a credit to the Hemel Hempstead branch and to Haart as a whole and, in my opinion, his promotion is long overdue.

I’ve contact the Hemel Hempstead Haart lettings team and Irfanali made the process easy and swift. His communication and patience have been great. He dealt with my enquiry very smoothly. I’m very happy with the service I have received and would definitely recommend Haart to people and also people those people who are reading reviews I would recommend Haart lettings is the best experience I have and plus I have been with Haart for 4 years and always went smooth for us. This is update from my last review. This people are very cheeky. Now I am very disappointed after that so long things went smooth for us but now I am disappointed because when I ask for wardrobe I was been told that the landlord may increase rent. I said that my landlord is good his never trouble me but please do not get involved between my and my landlord and now after 2 weeks I am getting a call that the landlord wants to increase the rent which is 150 more. This is not acceptable when Haart tries to get involved between landlord and tenants. I am now very upset as I just had a baby and for me for pay more 150 it’s too much. If Haart are saying things are expensive prices have gone high and now the place your staying the rental income is xyz. Well when I was signing for the contract it was based on my income and now increasing rent for 150 it’s really upsetting plus if things have gone expensive it’s not only gone for the landlord even it’s gone expensive for the tenants the council tax the energy which is gone high to the roof. Daily expenses etc. so therefore Haart should have not advice the landlord to increase rent. It was your agent who advice the landlord to increase the rent and rather than the same person calling a lady calls and says that the landlord wants to increase the rent and I did explain to her that it’s your agent your staff who told me that if I get a wardrobe then the landlord will increase the rent. And now just because of him this is disturbing for me and my family. I did have problem with Haart when Covid started one of the agent got involved and told me if you do not pay the rent the land will take legal action and guess what after few weeks I receive a solicitor post saying that the landlord is in possession of the property of you do not pay the rent……. I had to call the head office and complain about the lady and thankfully the matter got sorted and I paid off the rent slowly by slowly. Now again the agent is getting involved and making our lives difficult therefore now I would not recommend Haart. I am looking for another place as Haart have really disappointed us. Wish the landlord could be direct of this house and I am sure we could communicate very well. This agents spoils and think they are doing good job.

I was looking online for a small flat for my son & came across a studio posted by Haart, Hemel. I called & spoke to Jake, who was super quick getting in touch with the landlord & answering all my questions on the same day. Within two days, we put a holding deposit on the flat, sent over all the required documents & information, and were told that the flat had been secured. Jake understood that my son needed a flat quickly & so he arranged for a quicker moving in date than the listing had stated. This was extremely important to my son. We have been in constant touch with Jake since securing the flat & he has been incredibly efficient with communicating all the information we need. I would strongly recommend him as your estate agent!
