We have rented out 2 properties with David Doyle for the past 13 years and would definitely recommend them . We dealt with Aedine initially and then more recently Nicola . Nicola was friendly , professional, knowledgeable and kept us up to date regularly with the process of finding us a new tenant . She was always prompt to reply to emails and has also been helpful in providing us with information regarding the ever changing landlords regulations . All in all a very positive experience and we will definitely come back to David Doyle and Nicola when we need to find another tenant .

I instructed David Doyle to sell my property at possibly the worst time to sell a house due to the housing market crash in 2023. Because of the challenging nature of the market, I did have plenty of time to get to know the staff well over the next 17 months it took to complete the sale. The whole team were a delight to work with. They managed my expectations with complete professionalism. They were not afraid to deliver bad news as well as the good news during this time. They worked incredibly hard to keep the viewings coming in. I would highly recommend David Doyle to anyone looking to buy or sell in the Hemel Hempstead area. I have a very good experience of using the services at David Doyle. Id had a number of viewings which hadn’t been quite right but when I mentioned one I’d seen on Rightmove one of the team Cathy immediately said ‘yes you’ll love it ‘ and I did and have just moved in. Not only did she know that I’d like it, but she filled in in on the house and it’s history and went to get the keys and made time in her schedule that day for me to see it. Thank you Cathy. Was left feeling disappointed with the service I received by this agency. I'm a first time buyer, and felt that this was totally taken advantage of by the way I was dealt with and spoken to. I had quite a difficult vendor, and it was clear that no one knew how to deal with him. The property firstly was listed with a loft and a log burner, the loft didn't belong to the property at all and the log burner was in fact illegal. None of my emails to Charles were ever responded to, and it was a nightmare to ever get hold of Magdalena. I was passed around an awful lot with my sale, and never knew who I could to go with questions and enquires. After having to get a mortgage extension because the vendor was being difficult which really slowed things down, when the day finally came to collect my keys, the vendor refused to give the keys over and the Agency completely left me on my own to deal with this. The property was legally mine from 10am and was told I would have my hands on the keys from midday. I got into the property at 4:30pm after the vendor had literally gone awol with the keys, not one single agent was there to assist me after being advised to go to the property on my own and see what was going on. I had to go and physically get the keys from the vendor completely on my own. On top of this, the property was left in such a state that i couldn't stay in it for two days until i'd paid for it to be professionally cleaned. There was also a huge plumbing issue that was actually damaging the other property. The whole process was stressful, and totally underwhelming for what should have been a big achievement. I went into the agency myself after getting the keys and the situation was laughed at to be totally truthful. I wouldn't recommend. I was just lucky to have family of estate agents that gave me the guidance and advice I needed.

Firstly I would like to point out this was not even my estate agent, but I felt compelled to write a review as Magdalena Lora from David Doyle went above and beyond in her role as sale progressions. It was quite a tricky sale and purchase but Magdalena was on it, chasing all the other agents and solicitors in the chain when this wasnt even her job, she worked very hard for everyone in the chain. Always keeping everyone up to date and never resting until she had an answer. I can honestly say without her help and keeping everyone sane we would have never actually completed on our house. We approached several estate agents and chose David Doyle as they were professional and in discussing the initial sale price were realistic, honest and never once commented on other agents in a negative way. We felt that they would be trustworthy and professional at all times and they were. Aedine valued the property and suggested the price range which really worked for us; she recommended being flexible and again this was good advice. Matt, the sales manager was exceptional and took over when we went on the market. We had a lot of viewings and we actually sold to one of the first couples. Matt was such a great sound board, he listened, took our views into account, advised us and sorted out a few minor things along the way but was prompt and called when he said he would. His support with the sales progression was also much appreciate and Magdelena then followed this through. I can highly recommend DD and we sold within 9 weeks. Thank you so much, we really appreciated your support. Having sold now 7 times, I would definitley use DD again.

I have just sold my house with David Doyle, and I can say I have been nothing but impressed throughout the whole process. I had tried selling with a couple of other agencies prior to listing with them, who promised the world, and gave unrealistic valuations on the property from the outset, - with no substance. They also tried charging my ridiculous fees for better photo package etc - which I found outrageous, given that in my view, they should offer the best service possible to sell the house. My house was on the market for nearly a year before we changed agents. David Doyle, on the other hand, were completely realistic from the start. They clearly wanted to sell my house and whilst slightly more expensive, the package and level of service was worth every penny. They vetted the right people and I had 5 viewings lined up in the first week - and actually ended up accepting the first offer. At no point did I feel under pressure to accept, and they managed to get us the asking price. Beyond that, the after-sales was superb, I was kept in touch with every step of the way, and maintained very open, honest and transparent communication. I liked the fact they have a designated person for sales progression, which I found really handy to have as she took responsibility for keeping us updated. I had Nicole who was great! Whilst we didn't end up purchasing our onward property through them, we did view some properties, and again, the experience was nothing but positive. To top things off, this was all during the COVID-19 pandemic! Estate agents do sometimes have a bad reputation, and sometimes warranted, but I honestly can't recommend David Doyle highly enough, and they will be my "go-to" estate agents moving forward. All members of staff were great, and a special mention to Charles, Matthew and Nicole for all their efforts. Thanks very much! :)
