GoogleExcellent service Firstly I would highly recommend I received first class service not easy to choose an estate agent but I went with my gut feeling and decided on castles having met several others before we listed our family home . From start to finish we were kept updated and worked together to achieve maximum impact and get the house sold, great pictures and aerial view both for their own site as well as right move. We had lots of house views initially it did go quiet but expected that to be the case after it had been on the market for a little while castles however did not give up they kept going to get the right client and they succeeded so a huge thank you . I would like to thank the whole team nothing was too much trouble I had my first meeting with Ian Allison a great introduction to the company and what they hoped to deliver and true to word they did not disappoint. A special thank you to Donnel who sold our home and also to Ian Harrison from the progression team absolutely amazing service I highly recommend .

GoogleWhat can I say. This is the best ever estate agents I have used. Yes they were the more expensive but by far the best I have ever used. Simon in sales, Luke in sales viewing and Iain in follow up have all been the best. I have never had to chase I have always been informed. Cheap is not always the cheapest. In this case it was money well spent. Thank you all. Exchanged 29.08.25 put in the market in June 25. Thank you castles team

Donnel was absolutely fantastic from the start, showing us the flat on several occasions, always with a warm, helpful attitude and great knowledge of the property. GooglePurchased a house last year from castles Boxmoor and Donell was there guiding all the way through the process , again when I came to sell my house he had an offer agreed within 3 weeks . Super professional chap so much so I recommended him to my friends who are also selling locally . Wouldn’t use any other agent!

Google2.5 Years Violating GDPR I contacted this agency in November 2024 about a property, which I may or may not have visited. Shortly after, once I had found a suitable property, I clearly told them to remove my details - I explicitly invoked GDPR’s right to erasure and told them to delete my data. They ignored me. This cycle has repeated multiple times. Despite this, they continue sending marketing emails, every few months, right up to May 2026. This is not just spam; it is a clear violation of UK GDPR and PECR. Once a person withdraws consent or requests deletion, the law requires immediate action. They have done neither. Emailing property details, or summaries of new legislation both fall under the same requirement. If they had followed the law they would not longer have my email and would not be able to contact me whenever they felt like it. Do yourself a favour: Use other agencies. Do not trust this agency with your data. They disregard your privacy rights and treat GDPR as optional.

This is by far the worst agency I have ever dealt with. Completely useless, unprofessional, and disrespectful. They waste time, waste resources, and treat people like they don’t matter. Nothing works, no one cares, and you’ll only leave frustrated and angry. If I could give 0 stars, I would! When someone is in real need of shelter and support, they only seem to care about money, rules, and paperwork. Only profit and bureaucracy matter to them! At least this is what they have proven! It is heart breaking to see how they treat those who are most vulnerable. I honestly hope that karma gives them the same treatment they gave to us, because no one deserves to be ignored and dehumanized the way they do in special Jake Houchen manager itself! I'm wondering who hired him!

GoogleEven though our offer wasn't accepted, Luke made the process very easy and quick for us. With other estate agents, it was stressful and long. I can't speak on behalf of sellers but as a buyer, I didn't feel the pain that we went through with other estate agents.

GoogleConstantly messed around by the estate agent. Changing and cancelling appointments. Moving from London to a new area I would not recommend this company. I lost £50 on my train tickets as they cancelled at the last minute. Will avoid!
