Simply the best.

I had 8 different local estate agents come to value my house. All except Fox & Sons valued it by comparing it with properties that bore little resemblance to mine. The Fox & Sons valuer actually looked at the property properly and valued it accordingly. It sold within 5 days of going on the market for £16,000 more than the others had valued it. We have just completed. In addition, the staff at Fox & Sons Bitterne have been unfailingly helpful, keeping me informed of progress on a weekly basis. I cannot fault their service. My grateful thanks to all concerned, especially Jay, Tom and Laura.

Wow - fox and sons were great when we were buying! Zoe was a pleasure to liaise with and happy to help with any queries - a great person to have in our corner as a go between to other parties in the process. The in house mortgage advisor Gareth was brilliant - incredibly knowledgeable and helpful especially to us as first time buys in our early 20s without a clue about lots of important details. Absolutely appalling and disgraceful…

Absolutely appalling and disgraceful service from Fox & Sons Lettings. Morgan Wilde (Crawley branch) and Olivia Rennie (Haywards Heath branch) completely failed in their duties while I was paying full management fee. They left my property vacant for over five months on purpose, ignoring at least two eligible tenants who submitted enquiries - both never received any response. On top of that, they kept presenting me with tenants who were completely unsuitable for the flat, people without jobs. This shows a shocking disregard for my property and finances. I had to constantly chase them to carry out even basic management duties, and their excuses were pathetic. Their negligence, unprofessionalism, and complete lack of accountability cost me thousands in lost rent. I had to constantly chase them to do even the most basic management tasks, and their excuses were pathetic. When I went to another agent, my flat was rented in less than 48 hours - proof of their incompetence and negligence. I strongly advise anyone not to deal with Fox & Sons letting department, especially Morgan Wilde at Crawley and Olivia Rennie at Haywards Heath. They’re disgusting, dishonest, and their behaviour utterly unacceptable. I am taking this further and I will not rest until I get a proper explanation and resolution. Shame on you Morgan Wilde and know that your dishonesty and dirty play will cost you in life.

Thank you much to the team at Fox and Sons , from our first viewing of our property with Byron who was polite ,informative about the property but just let us view in peace , no hard sell.Then from there I have been dealing with Zoe , who has been chasing solicitors when needed , forwarding on emails from my vendor just generally keeping on top of the progression which has led to exchanged contracts today . I recently bought a house In Haywards Heath through Fox and Sons. Such a nice friendly team. Byron was lovely and showed me around a few possible home but knew which one I’d prefer! I saw Ben in office who was so helpful with all my ID checks. Gareth is the most helpful financial advisor and went through everything step by step and and relieved my anxiety about buying house on my own !! Zoe was lovely and kept me up to date with progress of sale !! Would highly recommend this estate agent for communication, putting Clients at ease, efficiency and I just think that they are a lovely helpful team and I would highly recommend them !! Thank you!!

Such a fantastic experience with Byron Watt at Fox & Son’s Haywards Heath. He was the first viewing we had as first time buyers! He was welcoming, warm in personality and couldn’t be more helpful on our search! I feel he went above & beyond to meet our criteria, so couldn’t recommend him enough! Another fantastic & super helpful member of staff at this branch would be Gareth Pontin! We had a free consultation with Gareth, who explained every single detail in the buying process which was so helpful being new to this. Really impressed with the professional way we were dealt with. From putting our flat on the market, to finding the right buyer ( thank you Byron and Jack ) and then to exchange of contracts. All staff at Fox and Sons Haywards Heath did an amazing job, they were always on hand to help, kept us updated on progress, and helped with any issues that we had to deal with. We went to Gareth Pontin at Fox and sons for mortgage advice. We ultimately did not purchase the property we viewed via Fox and sons. But we were so impressed with Gareth that we went to him to secure our mortgage. He explained all the different products available in an easy to understand way, and responded quickly to communication. He met with us in person on multiple occasions until we were entirely happy with our mortgage. We will definitely be returning to him when we remortgage, and recommending to family and friends.

Staff were friendly but just a bit useless. Kept on saying stuff would be sorted but never did, had to rely on just the landlady due to no help from them. Even till the last day it was a challenge to even get my holding deposit back, they kept on saying "it was with the finance team", delays taking around 2 months and had to even get the holding deposit company involved to get them to take the money and retrieve it off them. This was after we agreed it would be returned within 10 days and after the landlady said the property was fine and we could have the full amount back. Just be aware anyone who chooses to go with them it will be a challenge to get even pennies off them. Targeted at Southampton branch.

We had a really positive experience with Fox & Sons. This was mainly due to the Sales Negotiator, Byron Watt. He was so proactive and actively knocked on our door when he noticed we were on the market, which then led to us switching to Fox & Sons. The fact he had gone above and beyond gave us the confidence to switch. He then called us with details of a house and highlighted us as perfect suitors, which turned out to be true as we viewed, fell in love, made the offer with Byron (who really helped with advice on how/what to offer) and then finally completed. If it wasn't for Byron and his proactiveness, this move for us would never have happened. The whole team throughout the process were very helpful and would highly recommend.

We were mostly satisfied with Fox & Sons until it was suggested that our end was holding up exchange because of a deed of variation needed. We did not appreciate the pressure from Zoe to essentially ignore our solicitor. We were paying our solicitor for their legal expertise, not Fox & Sons. We had also previously driven exchange documents in person just before attending my brother's wedding months prior to ensure we did not hold up exchange our end only for the seller's side to let us down again months later. Being accused of causing delays was very much not appreciated given how stressful the purchase already was.
