We have been trying to move for 14 months and have encountered various problems. None of these were of our making nor that of Durden and Hunt. Friends recommended that we change estate agents during this time but we were very satisfied with the service we continued to receive. Throughout we have been happy with our ongoing relationship with every member of staff, whether in buyers' visits, concerns about how to progress or getting us to final completion. Ross, the manager, was great and took a personal interest in our situation. Amanda, the Sales Progressor, was fabulous and kept us informed all the way. Grace, Ciara and Daniel were so professional in all their communications and their visits with potential buyers. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend the team at Durden and Hunt's Hornchurch branch. Durden and Hunt one word absolutely amazing! From the first meeting the valuation where we met Daniel though to the exchange of contracts, Durden and Hunt have been fantastic. Daniel, Ciara and Grace were absolutely brilliant in selling my property, great communication from beginning to end, I could not recommend them enough. Once the house was sold I was in communication with Amanda the sales progressor and Ross - Branch Partner. Amanda has been superb in getting our sale through and has been key in communications between all parties. I have recently used Durden and Hunt to sell my property and I must say their service was out of this world. The team really worked hard. It started with a leaflet that was put through my mailbox which I used to make contact. Ross Chimes took the call and came in to value the property and explain the process and managed my expectations well. He listened to my requests and provided options. The Pictures were taken and the house was on the market at the time and date as promised The team that handled the viewings and bookings, Ross, Grace Shepherd and Ciara Clark were superstars. They accommodated the potential buyers requests and made themselves available for viewing while I was in and even when no one was at home. I trusted them with my keys to come and go whenever a request was made. They worked around our availability and showed respect for the times we could not have allowed viewings. Amanda Stark, came into the picture to nicely wrap everything up after the offer was made and accepted for the sale of the property. Amanda pushed through all the bottle necks between the two lawyers and the buyer. She pressed the lawyers for progress updates and she even worked with the estate agent for the property that I am buying to ensure that my purchase was going ahead smoothly. Alex is an outstanding business man. He is very easy to warm too and feels more like a friend than someone who’s just selling a house. He is so resourceful and responsive and his attention to detail and knowledge is spot on. I had used other agents before him and liked the service for some and not for others. I would never use anyone else now I’ve found him and nor would my family. I honestly can’t recommend Durden and Hunt enough. His team are like him as they have been trained by the best. Moving home can be extremely stressful and that’s why it’s vital to have a good agent. I’m local and have used a lot of others in Hornchurch in Upminster and no ones come close over the years of going through selling 3 homes to this time.

Amanda and Garce were superstars. Durden and Hunt are the best estate agent in Hornchuch, in my humble opinion. Grace was easy to contact, which is more than you can say for most. Without Amanda, we wouldn't be moving into our house this weekend. The fact D&H employ someone just to progress deals makes all the difference. I've used a few estate agents and this has been the best one. P.s - I didn't use their solicitor, opting for a cheaper option. I soon came to regret that decision. If I could go back, I'd pay slightly more, as it nearly cost me the deal. P.s.s Ross was also super helpful and accommodating.
