I have been really impressed with the service provided by West Wales and James E throughout the purchase of my first home. I have found my experience of West Wales Properties in Haverfordwest to be very professional from start to finish. I had James as my contact and representative and he has been absolutely AMAZING! We arranged to view two properties in Solva. We had travelled a long way (5hrs) and on arrival we were met by Charlotte Holt one of the team at West Wales Properties. Charlotte is hands down the most enthusiastic, knowledgeable and accommodating agent we have ever encountered. We viewed a property with Aaron who we are still waiting to hear back from with our queries on the property he did not know the answers too. We went ahead and put in an offer over asking and we’re able to proceed immediately. This offer took almost 48 hours to be sent to the Vendor. 11 days later we had to chase for an update. During these 11 days we got told on numerous occasions we would get a call back. Yet to receive one. On the 11th day we got advised our offer is not accepted and they’d gone with a cash buyer. 14 days later, the property is still shown as available. We enquired again to be told yes it’s available. We called back to arrange a viewing and then get told ‘oh it is sold sorry’. The lack of communication between staff and customers is rather questionable. We bought from West Wales 3 years ago and had no issues. Now we would avoid all properties listed by them due to their poor customer service. I am rather thankful our offer did not get accepted as it’s still showing online as readily available and we’d no doubt not have any communication during the purchase. I’d be cautious about purchasing and listing with these.
