Alice who dealt with our case was very professional and an amazing help through every step of the way getting into the property and thereafter. GoogleI have never been treated like this before. We were looking to found a property which we were happy to view and possibly buy. Called the agents and the telephone conversation was more like speaking to my school head master where I was told off by a gentleman who told me off and gave me a list of requirements before we were able to see the property. It felt like I am offering them a service and I have to prove myself worthy first before they accepted my business. I guess when I'm willing to invest a few hundred thousand I deserve at least a polite customer service. then it turns out that they do not accept customers coming around in the morning and I was directly told they can not see me in the morning to take my details. So my question is when did this happened... now customers need to chase the agents to do the job for which they charge thousands in commissions. I might be wasting opportunities but would never contact them again for any reason.

Having dealt with other EA's at the other end of Waterlooville I can say that Mann were amazing and professional to deal with throughout the process. No wonder the majority of reviews on here are atrocious. The Beckenham Branch is the worst kind of estate agent experience you could wish for. They cancel appointments, but never bother to call back to rearrange. Every person you speak to tells you a different story, lies, lies, lies. Where is the management and leadership?

Intial consultation seemed positive but things then went downhill as floor plans needed repeated correction and appointed photographer seemed uninspired and uninterested. Several images needed replacing by agenciesphone shots. The online description contained missing text, errors and general failure to inspire prospective buyers. Then followed weeks of silence, a couple of marketing reports,when requested, but no viewings and no feedback. Desperately disappointing.

As a new TenantAs a new tenant, I have been really impressed with the service and professionalism shown by Jess and Lee, who worked extremely hard to help me get the right property and tenancy agreement for me.They kept me up to date throughout the whole process and the turn around from viewing to moving in was incredible and I cant thank them enough for all their efforts.The whole process has been incredible and, the moving in gift was a lovely token.Thanks again

Terrible. Particularly the strood branch. Every viewing that shows interest - they then can't get hold of. Every single one just disappears never to be heard of again? Then, as soon as you give 28 required notice to end service with them, they stop advertising your property!They never call back when they say they will either.

Just plain incompetent it seems…we put out home on the market with Mann, Paul Goldsmith to be precise, who came across as a genuine and upfront guy… Then the fun started which immediately made us feel uneasy…the photographs done were ok, but the layout drawings were wrong (from supposedly an architect moonlighting when work was slack, doing pictures for estate agents!). The write-up they did was poor to say the least, so I wrote one and insisted it was put out in place of theirs… Initially they said they had people lining up to view property in our road, but it was almost two weeks before the first viewing…which they insisted doing as ‘that was best’…and asked if we could vacate the property whilst they did the viewings… we had three viewings, and invariably Anne Underwood. who was managing the viewings, was late… we had potential buyers parked outside, us waiting to leave in our car, and all waiting on Anne Underwood…!! She handled two viewings, neither of which made an offer, and Paul Goldsmith handled the first viewing, with the same result… I handled the fourth viewing myself, as I was told by Anne Underwood that she had someone in the area who would like to view, but simply could not handle it…!! So I handled it myself, and guess what, yes I sold my own home… Since this time, having decided to go with Mann’s own ‘Conveyancing Direct’ legal service to handle both the sale and our purchase, it’s been a disaster… almost zero contact, except for an occasional email from the ‘legal team’…not being able to get through in the phone, after being redirected by ‘customer service’, the phone just rings and rings or you are cut off… Having had such poor service I asked Mann at their Rochester office for updates, thinking I was paying them almost 6k for a service, but hardly ever heard from them…so the upshot of that was they simply did not answer emails, or when phoning, they were all so incredibly busy, no one was available to talk to you…except for Ben…who I must admit was always polite in the phone…I was advised (warned) by another estate agent that Mann’s were poor, but just took this as professional rivalry…I now wish I had listened to him… I WOUOD NOT RECOMMEND MANN COUNTRYWIDE TO ANYONE, EITHER FOR SELLING YOUR PROPERTY (OR BUYING INLESS THEY ARE THE SOLE AGENTS AND ITS THE HOME FOR YOU)…AND DO NOT USE CONVEYANCING DIRECT, WHICH IS THE ‘COUNTRYWIDE’ GROUPS IN-HOUSE l PROPERTY CONVEYANCERS…THEY ARE, HOW CAN I SAY IT, JUST PLAIN USELESS…AND ALMOST COMPLETELY NON-CONTACTABLE, AND DO NOT RETURN CALLS OR CALL YOU EVEN WHEN THEY SAY THEY NEED TO SPEAK TO YOU, SO BEWARNED…!!

Might be worst possible viewing experience I’ve ever had, was told to come an hour early and then had to wait outside for 40 mins while someone from the office called Charlie called me to tell me the person carrying out the viewing was still going to be late and was so unprofessional on the phone “because it’s not poor Ben’s fault he was late”. This is Mann Rochester and my 2nd awful experience after being told I needed a decision in principle to view a flat and didn’t let me view

We are having a very negative experience with the Gravesend branch manager. He is extremely arrogant, egotistical, condescending and severely lacks basic customer service skills. We are constantly having to chase for feedback and updates which when you're paying for an expensive service, this is not acceptable. Currently, we have no faith in Mann and their ability to successfully sell our home.
