GoogleHave just cancelled a second viewing by answerphone 20 minutes before it was scheduled. Having travelled for an hour and intending to offer today we were surprised that this estate agent is not competent enough to run their own diary so won't be trusting them with a property sale!
Sorry you were inconvenienced by this cancelled appointment.

GoogleSorry assisted gazumping years ago, still don't trust them
Mike, we share your frustrations over gazumping but you are pointing the finger in the wrong direction. If we received an offer on a property, even one that already has an offer accepted, we HAVE to submit it to the owner as it is the law. It is then up to the owner to decide if they wish to accept this new offer or remain with the existing one, not the agents decision. Until government changes the law, gazumping will continue and some owners will take more money if offered.. It's also not nice for us as we then have to take the brunt of buyers frustrations when their offer is rejected over a higher offer and then see a one star review for something that is out of our control.
Where the same review appears twice we show it once. We leave out reviews that name another agent or another of the brand's offices.
