Would score them no stars if it allowed . We started off trying to sell our house with fox and sons . What a mistake to make. Disaster from day one . Told them I wanted a sale board up . Which we eventually got. Only to be taken down again. When I asked them why , got told it was a mistake . Had to keep phoning them to get it put up again. When we got viewings they failed again and again to inform the viewers the savings they would make due to solar panels we have . Found this out when a couple of viewers came back to have a look round .I kept having to chase up feed back with them .instead of them keeping me informed. The final straw came when twice they didn't secure my front door after showing people round . Gave them a months notice , and then changed to Your Move found them more professional and friendly to do business with. And have now sold my Property with them. THANKS Stuart and Rob at Your Move

I cannot recommend Alfie highly enough! From start to finish, he was absolutely fantastic in getting me into my new property in just two weeks! Despite being the only person in his team at the moment, Alfie went above and beyond at every stage of the process. He was always available, super helpful, and made what can sometimes be a stressful process feel effortless. I’m still amazed at how quickly everything came together, and it’s clear that Alfie is extremely dedicated to his work. If you’re looking for a letting agent who truly cares, Alfie is your guy!

Staff were friendly but just a bit useless. Kept on saying stuff would be sorted but never did, had to rely on just the landlady due to no help from them. Even till the last day it was a challenge to even get my holding deposit back, they kept on saying "it was with the finance team", delays taking around 2 months and had to even get the holding deposit company involved to get them to take the money and retrieve it off them. This was after we agreed it would be returned within 10 days and after the landlady said the property was fine and we could have the full amount back. Just be aware anyone who chooses to go with them it will be a challenge to get even pennies off them. Targeted at Southampton branch.

Fox and Sons Langley- Disappointing experience. In my experience, my offer was not passed to the vendor for approximately a week after I submitted it. I had to chase them to get a response, to be told two other people were dealing and they would get back to me, they did not I had to chase again and was told they didn’t realise it was my official offer even though I spent thirty minutes in total to them and the reasons why I was submitting that offer! I was subsequently told that the vendor had “chewed their ear” about the level of the offer, and I was left feeling that I was being held responsible for the vendor’s reaction. I was also disappointed that concerns and defects I had raised during the viewing did not appear to be acknowledged in the same way afterwards, being told that vendor said they did not exist, I felt dismissed and gaslighted From my perspective, I would have expected the offer and the information I provided about the property to be communicated promptly and accurately, and for the agent to provide appropriate advice to their client. Unfortunately, based on my experience, I would not choose to use this agent again.

As first time buyers, my partner and I were completely clueless when making the huge decision to buy a house. We booked a viewing through Fox and Sons, who recommended a meeting with their in house mortgage advisor, Danielle. We are so glad we took them up on this offer, Danielle is a fountain of knowledge, who puts otherwise complex and confusing information across in terms that are easy to understand. Having spoken to a couple of other advisors who would only deal with us via text or telephone call, it was a breath of fresh air to be introduced to someone who could meet us in person. Danielle has put us at ease every step of the way - no question is too silly. She’s done all the leg work and helped with everything, finding the right deals for us, and all the additional things you don’t think about. We would highly recommend her and feel so lucky to have found her. A proactive and helpful lady who has the ability to make you feel as though you’ve been friends for years! Danielle has changed this process from being daunting and scary to being fun and exciting, we can’t thank her enough!

Harassing me with phone calls when iv asked them to stop more than once

I asked fox and sons to come a do a valuation of my late father’s property. I have then been phoned 20times since asking if they can put the property on the market for me. I asked them politely to not phone me any more as it’s on the market with a different estate agent and to take my details of the system. They said they would I have since then received 5 other phone calls from them and each time been told they will take my of the the system. I have had three calls since and each time I have asked not to be phoned and they keep phoning me. It’s getting to the point of harassment now. I would stay clear. They clearly don’t listen to peoples wishes and feel it’s ok to continue to phone someone when they have been asked not to. If only they put the same amount of effort into selling a property ( they had my old house on the market two years and had about three people for viewings. STAY CLEAR

Can't thank Danielle enough! My partner and I were first time buyers and didn't know where to start when it came to the process of buying our first home. We were very nervous! Danielle was patient, friendly and went above and beyond to help us buy our dream first home! She held our hand through the entire process, she answered our queries, worries and questions and nothing was too big of an ask. Continuously hassled even after asking multiple times not to be

The estate agent that came to value my property needed more customer experience. He asked very intrusive questions, was rude about other estate agents valuations, was very pushy and I felt I had to be firm when I said I am only wanting a second opinion, not for them to market my property. I asked not to be contacted by them and I would be in touch if I needed their services. In the weeks following, the decision was made for me not to use them as I was contacted via telephone at least twice a week, pushing me to put it on the market with them when all I’d asked for is a valuation. When I asked multiple times to be taken off their contact list, the message clearly didn’t get through as I was contacted a further three times after this. No voicemails were left - just missed calls from an unknown number. When I explained my frustrations, they were far from understanding and got defensive. I will not be using this estate agent nor recommending it to anyone.
